WOLVES V LEEDS

8pm It’s already been a busy week with Champions League and midweek Premier League action, but Friday Night Football comes from Molineux as Wolves host Leeds. Both sides sit beside each other in 11th and 12th in the Premier League table, with Leeds two points ahead with a game in hand – this should be a good game! Leeds have been very entertaining to watch this season. They have played an open game, and while it hasn’t worked for them at times (Arsenal last weekend!) they have been an excellent watch for the neutral fan.

Wolves haven’t been themselves this season, and they won’t be enjoying life in the bottom half of the table. They were fighting for European football last season and it been a dramatic drop off for them this season. Leeds will be looking forward to playing them as their bound to create more chances than Wolves. The problem for Leeds backers is they also give away a host of chances – it was disappointing to see them concede four goals against Arsenal last weekend because Arsenal have been so poor this season, but that’s what happens when you give Arsenal time and space.

How this game pans out will be fascinating as Leeds like to play an open game while Wolves always keep their games tight. I’m not surprised to see the over/under 2.5 goals at around 2.0 the pair on BETDAQ Betting Exchange. It’s also not a surprise to see an open market as there will be a lot of different opinions on this clash! Wolves have been disappointing this season and I’m happy to have a small bet on Leeds at 2.96.

We landed a nice bet on Wolves at the weekend but I felt that was a good time to play Southampton given their recent run. I feel Leeds will definitely create more chances than Wolves and perhaps they can get away with being loose at the back given Wolves have struggled to score goals this season. I’d have Wolves a little bigger and Leeds a little shorter, but there shouldn’t be much in this one – Leeds looks the value.

The Striker Says:
One point win Leeds to beat Wolves at 2.96 on BETDAQ Betting Exchange
