TOTTENHAM V FULHAM

8pm A new week begins on BETDAQ Betting Exchange, and we kick it off with Monday Night Football as Spurs host Fulham. It’s the start of a massive week of football as the Champions League returns. Spurs have had an electric start to the season, and they started this Matchday sitting top of the table. Ange Postecoglou has definitely brought the feel good factor to Spurs, and he also has them playing some excellent football too.

As we went into the International Break, Spurs were top of the table for chances created. Their average xG created was 2.2 which is very high – for example Manchester City and Arsenal both had an average in the 1.7’s. With Spurs you always feel like things will come crashing down at some point, we’ve just had so much disappointment around the club in recent years but they seem to have found a manager who will certainly have all the fans behind him and has the dressing room all working together. With Manchester United and Chelsea off the pace this season, a Top Four spot is there for the taking for Spurs if they can hold this performance level.

On paper, they will be expected to win here. They are the red-hot favourites too; they are trading 1.54 with Fulham 6.4 and the draw is 5.0 at the time of writing. Fulham have a habit of grinding out results but they have some huge issues at the back. They were exceptionally lucky to finish where they did last season and they have been conceding a lot of chances this season too. They have also had issues creating chances; their average xG created is 1.09 this season which is in the bottom five. Eventually sides are going to start taking their chances against this Fulham side, but you have to give them massive credit for grinding out results.

When you look at the stats, you can definitely see why Fulham were on a lot of football fans list as dark horses for relegation this season. They won’t be involved in that battle, but it’s hard to make the case for supporting them. Spurs are going to get a lot of chances against this Fulham side who are so loose at the back. It might be hard to believe it, but Spurs are the best attacking side at the moment in the Premier League and you have to respect that. I can only see a one way traffic win here and I’m very happy with a confident bet at 1.54. It would be remarkable if Ange Postecoglou could actually get Spurs into the title race, but the way things have been going they could actually have a run at it. Morale is sky high, and he will keep their feet on the ground too given his way of man management.

The Striker Says:
Three points win Tottenham to beat Fulham at 1.54 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.
