FRIDAY IN EUROPE: The Ultra previews HEIDENHEIM v BOCHUM with a recommended BETDAQ bet.
HEIDENHEIM V BOCHUM
7.30pm Friday night football from Europe on BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE comes from the Bundesliga with a massive relegation clash. We’re really getting to the business end of the season now, and the pressure couldn’t be any higher on these two sides. Heidenheim host Bochum with both sides sitting in the bottom three. Heidenheim are in the relegation playoff spot, while Bochum are sitting bottom of the table four points behind. Heidenheim are five points behind Hoffenheim; they are unlikely to catch them but obviously a win here would give them a chance.
This is a must win game for both sides – for Heidenheim it gives them a chance at getting out of the bottom three and also confirms there position in the relegation playoff spot at worst, while for Bochum they have to win if they are going to have any chance of getting out of that bottom two. The relegation playoff spot that Heidenheim are sitting in now is Bochum’s best result – we still have a few games left, but it’s highly likely that this fixture will decide the faith of both clubs. The stakes couldn’t be any higher, so we should have a drama filled evening.
Heidenheim come into the game as the favourites at 2.38 with Bochum 3.15 and the draw is 3.75 at the time of writing. Both sides will point of their attacking figures and say that they are unlucky to be where they are – neither of them have an attacking figure in the bottom three and there’s only 0.04 on average xG created between them. It’s easy to pinpoint the problem – they have both been far too sloppy at the back. They have the fifth and sixth worst defensive figures but they are both conceding more goals than they should. There’s actually only 0.03 between them on average xG conceded.
Both are under-performing up front and at the back – they both have exceptionally similar profiles to be honest. Obviously Heidenheim are favourites with home advantage, but I would actually have the market a bit more open. Given how many chances they are both conceding, you would be interested in the goal options but at the same time they have both really struggled for goals this season. That puts me off Both Teams To Score or Over 2.5 goals, and I feel the best value option here is the draw at 3.75 which looks far too big given how similar the sides look on paper. It’s a must win game for both sides, but I can see them cancelling each other out.
The Ultra Says:
One point win Draw at 3.75 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.
