LA LIGA: Our football tipster The Ultra previews Monday’s game between CELTA VIGO v GRANADA with a recommended BETDAQ bet.

CELTA VIGO v GRANADA

8pm It’s a big week in Europe this week with some massive Champions League and Europa League fixtures, but we kick the week off in La Liga with Celta Vigo hosting Granada. This is a massive game for both sides who have both started the season poorly. At the start of the weekend round of fixtures they sat in 17th and 18th, only ahead of Getafe and Alaves who both sat on zero points. Celta Vigo are too good to be involved in any sort of relegation battle, and they should turn things around quickly however it’s not nice being down in the bottom five at any stage of the season!

To be fair to Granada too, they are also too good to go down. These two finished in 8th and 9th last season. Although there were beside each other in the table, Celta Vigo were seven points ahead of Granada. Celta Vigo can say they have had a tougher fixture list than Granada too, they have already had to play Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid, before they finally got their first win away to Levante in the last round of fixtures. Granada have had to play Barcelona, but they actually got a 1-1 draw away from home which was a great result.

With both sides coming into the game with poor records, I’m sure there will be some big opinions on the Celta Vigo price on BETDAQ Betting Exchange. They are trading 1.66 at the moment, so let’s take a look at the underlining numbers. Celta Vigo have created xG figures of 2.17, 0.10, 1.34, 2.09, 1.50 and 0.89. They have conceded 1.73, 2.87, 1.73, 3.58, 1.24 and 1.57. They are really giving away too many chances looking at those figures, and you can see why they have started slowly. Even in their 0-0 draw with Osasuna, they conceded 2.87 and created 0.10! They deserved to lose, and perhaps the 1.66 is too short here.

Let’s take a look at Granada’s figures. They have created 0.33, 0.98, 0.78, 0.88, 0.76 and 1.57. They aren’t creating a lot of chances, so perhaps Celta Vigo can get away with being dodgy at the back. They have conceded 1.45, 1.79, 2.41, 2.57, 2.10 and 2.44. That’s a huge volume of chances to be giving away – I know Celta have given away a lot, but at least they have been creating more. This should actually be a close game, with a lot of mistakes at the back. Both Teams To Score looks the value call at 1.96 because Celta look very fairly priced at 1.66.

The Ultra Says:
Two points win Both Teams To Score at 1.96 with BETDAQ Exchange.
