LA LIGA MONDAY: Our football tipster The Ultra previews Monday’s matches between GETAFE v ELCHE and GRANADA v REAL BETIS both with a recommended BETDAQ bet.

GETAFE V ELCHE

7pm We have two fascinating markets for Monday night football in La Liga on BETDAQ Betting Exchange. It’s been an odd weekend in La Liga with some game postponed, but these four sides tonight will see this as a good opportunity to pick up some much needed points. We start the evening with Getafe hosting Elche. Both these sides were involved in the relegation battle last season, and it looks like they will be involved again this season. I know it’s very early days, but you’d almost call this a six pointer. Getafe are already in the bottom three having lost all three of their games while Elche have managed two draws from their three games. Although Getafe are in the bottom three, they have had a very tricky fixture list. They started away to Valencia, and then had to play Sevilla and Barcelona – they didn’t do too badly looking at the xG figures and they only lost both games by one goal.

Elche, to be fair to them, have also had a tough start to the season. They have had to play Athletic Bilbao, Atletico Madrid and Sevilla – they would have jumped at two points from those three games really and truly. They were very lucky to draw 1-1 with Sevilla, conceding an xG of 2.19 but Elche’s main problem this season will be creating chances. Their xG figures read 0.98, 0.26 and 0.63 so far. Getafe also have low figures so far – 1.33, 0.59 and 0.38. You have to factor in who both sides have played though, and it’s hard to get away from the fact that this will be a very close game. I have to say I’m very surprised to see Getafe odds on – I expected a very open market and I have to lay Getafe from a value point of view. I expect a much closer game than odds of 1.86 on Getafe suggest.

The Ultra Says:
Three points lay (liability) Getafe to beat Elche at 1.86 with BETDAQ Exchange.

GRANADA V REAL BETIS

9pm Next we have what should be a high-mid-table clash by the time we get to the end of the season, but Granada have started slowly and sat just outside the bottom three after their opening three games before this weekend’s fixtures on goal difference. Real Betis won’t be happy with their start either with two draws from three games, the same amount of points as Granada but a better goal difference. They had had to play Real Madrid in those fixtures, but they would have been very disappointed with a 1-1 draw against Cadiz and Mallorca. They managed to break into the top six for European football last season from finished 15th in 2019/20 and 10th in 2018/19 – it would be a shame for them to go backwards again so quickly. They need a win here.

Granada need to create more if they are going to have success this season. They haven’t had a very tough fixture list – indeed you could call it easy compared to the other three sides playing today but they have created xG figures of 0.33, 0.98 and 0.78 against Villarreal, Valencia and Rayo Vallecano. The 4-0 loss to Rayo Vallecano was particularly disappointing considering they only came up from the Playoffs. Unlike the 7pm game, we do have a very open market here and that is to be expected. It’s very hard to see past a very close game here and while the draw makes appeal at 3.3 I want to have Real Betis on my side here too. I feel they are playing marginally better football so far this season, even though it’s early days, and I’m much happier with the Granada lay here.

The Ultra Says:
Two points lay (liability) Granada to beat Real Betis at 3.1 with BETDAQ Exchange.
