MONDAY IN EUROPE: The Ultra previews ROMA v MONZA and SEVILLA v MALLORCA both with a recommended BETDAQ bet.
ROMA V MONZA
7.45pm We have an exceptionally busy week ahead on BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE with midweek action all over Europe, along with a full Premier League fixture list too. We might not see the same amount of drama that we had in the Champions League and Europa League last week, but we do have some cracking action. We start the week with Monday night football from Serie A and La Liga. It kick it off with Roma hosting Monza – it took Claudio Ranieri a while to get going at Roma but they have been on an excellent run lately. They progressed in the Europa League on Thursday night with a very entertaining 3-2 win over Porto, and they put together a decent run in Serie A recently too. They are unbeaten in nine games, winning six of those two; two of the games they drawn came against AC Milan and Napoli too. This is a game that Roma should be winning too – Monza are sitting bottom of the table and they are pretty much nailed on to go down at this stage of the season – they are becoming a little adrift even from getting back into the mix to stay up.
As you would expect given the gulf in class between the sides, Roma come into the game as the red-hot favourites. The home win is trading 1.33 with Monza 12.0 and the draw is 5.4 at the time of writing. Roma have been through a lot this season so they are massively on the backfoot in the race for European spots – they are in a position now where they just have to keep winning games and see what happens. They’ve an exceptionally difficult task ahead given Fiorentina, AC Milan and Bologna are the sides above them too. I feel this game is about how many goals can Roma score rather than will they win given he Monza level this season – no prizes for tipping 1.33 shots but they can be included in any midweek Acca this week! Monza have an average xG created of 1.02 which is the second worst attacking figure in Serie A, and they’ve been poor at the back too. Away from home, their average xG created drops too 0.85 so Both Teams Not To Score is a nice option at 1.77. Another nice option is Roma to cover a 1.5 goal handicap at 2.02 – I like both bets, and I’m going to opt with Roma to cover the handicap at the bigger price.
The Ultra Says:
Two points win Roma -1.5 goals to beat Monza at 2.02 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.

SEVILLA V MALLORCA
8pm We move over to La Liga to finish Monday night football from Europe as Sevilla host Mallorca. Sevilla have been having another very difficult season, and any chance of them getting back to the top four is probably long gone now. They were given a lifeline when they won the Europa League to stay in the Champions League, but another relegation battle followed by this season sitting in the low end of mid-table means the chances of attracting new players and a lack of money puts them in a little downward spiral to be honest. It’ll be interesting to see how they go over the next two years. Mallorca are actually sitting above Sevilla in the table – they have an outside chance a European spot which would be a remarkable achievement given they weren’t miles away from the relegation zone last season. They are obviously over-performing to be in the position they are in, but you have to give them credit for grinding out so many results. Sevilla come into the game as the favourites with home advantage at 2.18 with Mallorca 4.2 and the draw is 3.25 at the time of writing.
Both sides have pretty lacklustre under-lining numbers. Sevilla have an average xG created of 1.33 and Mallorca are 0.10 behind that. Mallorca have actually really struggled in front of goal this season – they haven’t even been converting their limited chances and they’ve scored less than a goal a game on average. They’ve been keeping things solid at the back, which is why they are so high up the table. Sevilla actually have a better average xG conceded compared to Mallorca, but they have been sloppy at the back and conceding more goals than they should. On paper, it’s quite easy to pick holes in both sides to be honest and although home advantage is always a big factor when you have two similar sides like this, I do feel that the 2.18 is a little short on Sevilla here. I expect a closer game than those odds suggest, and from a value point of view I’m happy with a small lay on the home win.
The Ultra Says:
One point lay (liability) Sevilla to beat Mallorca at 2.18 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.
