SATURDAY IN EUROPE: The Ultra previews Saturday’s top games between INTER MILAN v ROMA, BAYERN MUNICH v DORTMUND and REAL BETIS v VALENCIA all including a recommended BETDAQ bet.

INTER MILAN V ROMA

5pm It’s a blockbuster Saturday around Europe and we have some fantastic action on BETDAQ Betting Exchange We have some huge games from Serie A and the Bundesliga, while we finish the evening with the Copa del Rey Final! We kick off the action in Serie A with a cracker as Inter Milan host Roma. It was a good week for both of these sides, with Inter Milan recording a smooth 3-0 win over AC Milan in the Coppa Italia Semi-Final and Roma grabbing a late draw away to Napoli. That definitely did Inter Milan a favour as it put a dint in the Napoli title challenge, but Jose Mourinho has Roma playing very well at the moment. He looks to have a great spirit in this side at the moment and that’s a very dangerous thing with Jose gets it right. As we all know, things can take a turn and go wrong quickly – but for the time being he has the side playing good football and giving 100% effort. It will be interesting to see can they break into the top four next season, that is if he doesn’t lose the dressing room by then of course! Inter are rightfully favourites coming into this tie, you have to admit that they are a level above Roma, but Roma have some good momentum at the moment and look hard to beat – I wouldn’t have Inter so short at 1.68.

Roma have a big Semi-Final in the Europa Conference League to look forward to against Leicester next week, but their xG figures have been impressive lately. They have controlled games, and created enough to win games. As I said above, you’d have to say that Inter are a level above but I do expect to see a closer game than the 1.68 suggests on Inter. They take a nice run without a loss into this game, but they have rode their luck at times looking at their xG figures. They did well to beat Juventus 1-0 while conceding an xG of 1.93 – but perhaps that was always going to be a close game between two giants. Roma will obviously need to play very well to get a result here, but they have the confidence to attack this game and the value play looks a small Inter lay at the odds. Betting is all about getting value, and I fully expect a closer game than the odds suggest.

The Ultra Says:
Two points lay (liability) Inter Milan to beat Roma at 1.68 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.

BAYERN MUNICH V DORTMUND

5.30pm The blockbuster fixtures keep coming on Saturday and we move to the Bundesliga for Der Klassiker clash between Bayern Munich and Dortmund! These two have undoubtedly been the best two sides in Germany this season, but that doesn’t mean that we’ve had a good title race. Bayern Munich come into the game nine point clear at the top, and while they have had a few setbacks this season, Dortmund never really got close. It now looks like they are going to lose Erling Haaland to Manchester City during the summer. Will we ever get a close title race in the Bundesliga? RB Leipzig got a little close last season, and sold their stars as well – some to Bayern Munich! I have to say I have been a little disappointed by Dortmund this season, I always expect more from them and they just haven’t been that good this season. They have conceded a lot of needless sloppy goals, and played like headless chickens at times – the Europa League against Rangers is a classic example! There’s enjoying an open game, and then there’s been reckless. The market reflects the levels we have seen this season between the sides, with Bayern Munich trading as short as 1.4 to win here.

A lot of football fans will feel that Bayern Munich should be preparing for a Champions League Semi-Final next week! It was almost a “given” that they would go through against Villarreal when you looked at the betting markets, but Villarreal were superb and deserved to go through. They bounced back with a smooth 3-0 win last weekend though, and given the amount of chances that Dortmund concede it’s hard to see how Dortmund can stop Bayern here. While this is viewed as the game of the season in Germany, Bayern have scored ten goals in the last three meetings. Dortmund “held” them to a 1-0 win then, and in 2019 Bayern won 5-0 and 4-0 here! Indeed they have won the last three home meetings in the Bundesliga 13-2! With such a big gap between them at the top of the meeting, I actually think this game will be more open than usual – the distance means it won’t be a tense affair, and Dortmund just haven’t sat back this season. Over 3.5 goals looks cracking value at 1.71 but I’m going to take a chance with Any Other Home Win in the Correct Score market at around 3.15. Bayern could hammer Dortmund here given the away side have been so poor at the back.

The Ultra Says:
Two points win Any Other Home Win Correct Score at 3.15 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.

REAL BETIS V VALENCIA

9pm Although we have two blockbuster fixtures in Serie A and the Bundesliga today, we finish with a cracker in the Copa del Rey Final! You can’t beat a good Cup Final for drama, and we should have a good game here between Real Betis and Valencia. Real Betis are having a fantastic season, but they have dropped out of the top four in recent weeks. Their fall has been quite dramatic – they ever so slightly opened the door for Atletico Madrid, and Atletico have basically knocked the door down! It was easy to understand that Real Betis would have one eye on this fixture, but they lost further ground on Tuesday with a 1-0 loss to Elche meaning they are six points behind Atletico now. That’s their top four bid more than likely done, however even to be involved at this stage of the season is still an achievement for Real Betis. Let’s be realistic here; it’s extremely difficult to break into the top four in La Liga and they have done very well. A win in the Copa del Rey would cap a fantastic season, and they have a great chance to beat this Valencia side too. Athletic Bilbao done a lot of work here for both sides knocking out Barcelona and Real Madrid, but credit to Valencia for knocking out Athletic Bilbao who are Copa del Rey specialists!

Valencia come into this fixture with just one win from their last six La Liga games, and that came against Elche who are towards the bottom of the table but not in the relegation battle – two recent wins have driven them up the table. It’s hard to read too much into the recent Valencia La Liga games because they can’t achieve anything in La Liga and it’s easy for sides to focus on the Copa del Rey in that case. The Real Betis recent form is more reliable given they haven’t given up on the top four race, but I think it’s fair to say we’re going to get a high level from both sides here. When the sides met back in October, Real Betis hammered Valencia running out 4-1 winners. That was probably when they were playing their best football of the season, and although I would expect a closer game here I would still have Real Betis closer to 2.0 than their current 2.14. For me that looks cracking value as Valencia just aren’t at the same level of Real Betis. They had a poor season last year and have improved this season, but Real Betis have been top class this season. If the sides both play to their best there’s only one winner for me, and that’s Betis – I feel they are at least ten ticks too big here and they are worth a confident bet.

The Ultra Says:
Four points win Real Betis to beat Valencia at 2.14 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.
