BARCELONA V REAL VALLADOLID

4pm It’s a blockbuster Saturday from Europe with action from La Liga, the Bundesliga and Serie A on BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE! We kick off the day in La Liga with one of the shortest prices of the weekend around Europe as Barcelona host Real Valladolid. Barcelona come into the game as the red-hot favourites at 1.25 with Real Valladolid 15.0 and the draw is 7.4 at the time of writing. Barcelona will be fully expected to win here, and it’s hard to see past a comfortable home win here – Real Valladolid will have one aim this season and that’s to stay in La Liga. In that regard, results away to Barcelona aren’t going to have a major impact – it’s how they get on against mid-table sides and anything in a fixture like this will be a complete bonus. The early signs for Real Valladolid are worrying – they have managed to get points in two out of their three games, but those two games have come against Espanyol and Leganes; two sides that will be in the relegation battle as well to be honest. They were beaten easily by Real Madrid away from home, but they have created the second lowest attacking figure after three games.

Even allowing for one of those games coming against Real Madrid, that’s a worrying figure given they have faced limited opposition in their other two games. I can’t see past a comfortable Barcelona win here, and with them trading 1.25 in the match odds market we’ll have to look around the side markets to find some value here. Barcelona have been ticking all their boxes so far with three wins from three games – Real Madrid have dropped points too which I feel is also important. With all the off-field issues at Barcelona, I felt at the start of the season they needed to feel in the title battle and the buzz around the club would take over. From that point of view, it’s been the perfect start. They have been very solid at the back as well as impressive going forward – Both Teams Not To Score is trading 1.91 and that looks cracking value in my opinion. Real Valladolid have struggled to create chances so far and Barcelona can keep a clean sheet on the way to winning here – the 1.91 is worth a confident bet.

The Ultra Says:
Three points win Both Teams Not To Score at 1.91 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.

BAYER LEVERKUSEN V RB LEIPZIG

5.30pm Next we move over to the Bundesliga for one of the highlight fixtures of the weekend as Bayer Leverkusen host RB Leipzig. The Bundesliga started a week later compared to all the other major leagues around Europe, and both sides got off to a winning start last weekend. Bayer Leverkusen won 3-2 in typical dramatic fashion against Gladbach with a 101st minute winner – talk about masters of the late goal! They continued where they left off from last season! RB Leipzig had a lot less drama when beating Bochum 1-0, and it will be fascinating to see how this one plays out. It’s superb that Leverkusen have managed to hold onto Xabi Alonso when so many top clubs have been looking for new managers this summer – it definitely makes the title race a lot more interesting this season. Bayer Leverkusen come into the game as the odds on favourites at 1.84 with RB Leipzig 4.4 and the draw is 4.3 at the time of writing. While it was clear that Leverkusen were the best side in the Bundesliga last season – RB Leipzig weren’t far behind. Leverkusen had an average xG created of 2.01 compared to Leipzig at 1.7.

Leverkusen finished the season with an average xG conceded of 1.02 which is highly impressive, but RB Leipzig finished on 1.26. Obviously there is a gap between the sides, but RB Leipzig still play to a high level. Leverkusen had a dramatic opening, and that is something to be a little worried about. Gladbach scoring twice against them is a worry, and the market is expecting goals here. Over 2.5 goals is trading 1.52 with Both Teams To Score three ticks bigger at 1.55. These two sides played out two very entertaining games last season with Leverkusen winning 3-2 twice; you’d have to lean towards them but it’s also hard to argue that the 1.84 is massively over-priced. I feel that’s a fair reflection of their odds of winning, and there isn’t much value in the match odds market. I feel this game absolutely screams goals in an end-to-end game, and Both Teams To Score looks a very nice position at 1.55.

The Ultra Says:
Three points win Both Teams To Score at 1.55 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.

LAZIO V AC MILAN

7.45pm We move over to Serie A to finish a wonderful Saturday from Europe as Lazio host AC Milan. This should be a fascinating fixture, and it should give us an idea where these sides stand this season. Lazio were very disappointing last season slipping down to seventh after managing to finish second behind Napoli. Of course, Lazio massively over-performed in 2022/23, and their results were more in-line with their performance level last season. They still really struggled to create chances, and that seems to be a consistent problem over the last number of seasons. They finished last season with an average xG created of 1.25 which is basically a lower mid-table figure. In 2022/23, they finished with a figure of 1.45 which again was a mid-table figure. What has kept them in the top half of the table and in European football is how solid they have been at the back. Once again they over-performed at the back last season, and you just know in a big game like this that they are going to approach it in a cagey fashion. It’s just their style at this season. We have a very open betting heat, and it’s hard to see anything other than a close game.

AC Milan are the favourites at 2.56 with Lazio 3.0 and the draw is 3.55 at the time of writing. It’s hard to argue with the market too much here; you just know this is going to be a very close game. If anything the draw stands out as the value price at 3.55! AC Milan have definitely played the better football compared to Lazio, and they are rightfully favourites here. If you had to pick a winner it would be them. They grinded out a 1-0 win here last season, and they also managed a 2-0 win earlier in the season when they had home advantage. I expect a very close and cagey game here without many chances, and I feel it screams lack of goals and chances. Under 2.5 goals is trading 2.04 and I was really surprised to see it trading odds against when I clicked into the market. At 2.04 I feel it’s worth a three point bet because we’re getting a lot of value – I wouldn’t definitely have Unders trading odds on here! Lazio games have had goals in them so far this season, but they will be very cagey here in a big game.

The Ultra Says:
Three points win Under 2.5 goals at 2.04 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.
