ATALANTA V JUVENTUS

5pm We’ve had some fantastic action all week from Serie A and La Liga, and that’s where we finish the week on BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE too! We start the day in Serie A with a cracker as Atalanta host Juventus. This is the most open market of the day in Serie A, and it’s hard to see anything other than a very close game. Both sides have got off to positive starts this season – they both started the weekend sitting within the top four, just one point between them. After getting a big point deduction last season and missing out on Champions League football, getting back into the top four will be the priority for Juventus but after Inter Milan lost midweek and Napoli have started slowly, they’ll probably be involved in the title race. Juventus haven’t exactly set the world alight with the performance level yet though; however last season they grinded out a lot of results – this season, they are creating an average xG of 1.55 and conceding an average of 1.2. Pretty solid stats. Atalanta have actually been playing at a higher level – their average xG created is 1.67 which was the third best figure after the midweek games were played, and they are conceding the exact same.

As I said above, we have an exceptionally open betting heat. Atalanta come into the game as the favourites at 2.62 with Juventus 2.84 and the draw is 3.5. Atalanta have been very good at home – they have been a lot more solid at the back, and that was the same story last season. They actually finished last season with an average xG created of over 2.0 at home last season. Juventus did get a 2-0 win here last season, but three of the last four meetings have finished with a draw. With Juventus not really firing yet this season, I expect a very tense and cagey affair here. Under 2.5 goals is trading 1.98 and that stands out as a very nice bet. I’m also interested in the draw price at 3.5 which I feel offers some nice value too, but it’s hard to get away from Under 2.5 goals at the odds. Four of the last five meetings have had Under 2.5 goals and this game just sets up for a very cagey affair in my opinion.

The Ultra Says:
Three points win Under 2.5 goals at 1.98 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.

ATLETICO MADRID V CADIZ

8pm We move over to La Liga to finish Sunday as Atletico Madrid host Cadiz. Just like Serie A, we had a busy week in La Liga with a full fixture list. Atletico Madrid followed up their win over Real Madrid last weekend with a hard fought 2-0 win at Osasuna. It was an ill-tempered game with two red cards towards the end of the game too. Cadiz could only draw with home advantage against Rayo Vallecano, but Cadiz will be delighted with their start to the season. They sit in mid-table with nine points from their seven games – considering they were in the relegation battle last season right up until the final day they will be delighted with a stress free mid-to-low table season. Cadiz have been pretty lucky to get the amount of points they have, and I’d still be worried about them slipping into a relegation battle. After the midweek fixtures, their average xG created was only 0.86 which is the second worst in La Liga. They haven’t been very poor at the back, but they are conceding close to double that which is obviously worrying. I wouldn’t say that Atletico Madrid have been playing superb football, but with home advantage here it’s hard to see past the Atletico win.

Atletico come into the game as the red-hot favourites; they are trading 1.42 at the time of writing with Cadiz 9.4 and the draw is 5.2. Although it is hard to see past an Atletico Madrid, I would be a little worried about including them at short odds in any weekend Acca. Their average xG created this season is only 1.3 which isn’t exactly an impressive figure, and they are actually conceded a bigger average at 1.4. They are definitely in grind-out-results mode rather than blowing sides away, and the 1.42 does feel a little short. We usually see fireworks between these two though; Atletico have won six of the seven meetings but actually every game has had Over 2.5 goals! Atletico won 5-1 here last season, but the other recent results have been 3-2 Cadiz, 4-1 Atletico twice and then a 2-1 win too. I am worried about Cadiz not creating much, but Atletico are conceding chances and I feel Both Teams To Score is worth a small bet at 2.16.

The Ultra Says:
One point win Both Teams To Score at 2.16 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.
