ATALANTA V LAZIO

5pm What a Sunday on BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE from Europe! We have an all star cast from Serie A and La Liga. All eyes will be on Inter Milan v Juventus in a top of the table clash in Serie A, but we also have the Madrid Derby in La Liga as well as Atalanta hosting Lazio. That’s where we start the day, and this is a massive game for both sides. Atalanta start the weekend sitting just inside the top four – there’s a massive gap to the top three so the rest are playing for that fourth and final spot in the Champions League. Although Lazio start the weekend sitting down in seventh, they are only two points behind Atalanta – they have Roma and Fiorentina in between them so obviously we have a superb race for fourth this season! Atalanta come into the game as the favourites at 2.14 with Lazio 3.9 and the draw is 3.45 at the time of writing. Lazio finally broke back into the top four last season – they deserve a lot of credit for grinding out wins when other sides were dropping points trying to keep up with Napoli. They had a very slow start to the season this time around but they have definitely got back into the mix with four wins and a draw against Napoli from their last five games.

Their xG figures are still very poor however. Their average xG created is only 1.10 this season – that’s the fourth worst attacking figure in Serie A this season. It’s surprising to see them as high as they are in the table with a figure like that, but they have been excellent at the back too. They have kept their games as tight as possible this season, and you’d have to expect them to go into this game with a very cagey approach too. Atalanta have been very good going forward this season, and if there is going to be a winner then I think it’s them. Their average xG created is 1.62 this season which is the third best attacking figure so they have been creating a lot of chances. The 2.14 is a tempting bet, but this game screams low goals without many chances. You just know Lazio will be very negative and that Atalanta will have to work very hard to break them down. Under 2.5 goals is trading 1.7 and this looks a very good position in what should be a tight game.

The Ultra Says:
Three points win Under 2.5 goals at 1.7 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.

INTER MILAN V JUVENTUS

7.45pm We stay in Serie A next for the highlight of the day as Inter Milan host Juventus! We have a massive top of the table clash here, and this game could easily go a long way to deciding the title winner. You’d have to say that it’s a must win game for Juventus, even away from home – they are one point behind Inter as things stand but Inter have a game in hand too. An Inter win, plus a win in their game in hand too would really put them in the box seat for the title. The stakes couldn’t be higher, and it will be fascinating to see how things play out. Inter come into the game as the odds on favourites – they are trading 1.89 with Juventus 4.9 and the draw is 3.65 at the time of writing. There has been a huge gulf in class between the sides performance level wise this season, and Inter have been the better side by a distance. It’s almost been expected that they would take over in the title race at some stage, but you have to give Juventus massive credit for grinding out as many results as they have. Still, Inter’s average xG created this season is 1.79 while for Juventus it’s only 1.44. The sides are more evenly matched at the back, and a draw would be a more than acceptable result for Juventus here too.

Inter have been the best side at the back in Serie A this season – their average xG conceded is only 1.09 which is obviously very impressive. For Juventus it’s 1.20 which is still decent, but when you look at the under-lining numbers Juventus aren’t in the top five going forward or at the back. You’d have to expect a classic Italian cagey game here between two big sides – obviously Inter have been superb at the back this season and Juventus will set up to be quite negative here too. As I said, a draw would be a decent result and just see what happens in the title race from there. The sides drew 1-1 when they met earlier in the season, and Under 2.5 goals is an appealing bet at 1.73. There really wasn’t many chances between the sides when they met earlier in the season, and although I would definitely lean towards Inter in the match odds market, it’s hard to get away from Under 2.5 goals at 1.73. We should have a very tight game here, and I’d have Unders trading shorter.

The Ultra Says:
Three points win Under 2.5 goals at 1.73 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.

REAL MADRID V ATLETICO MADRID

8pm We finish the weekend in Europe with the Madrid Derby! What a cracker this should be, and it could have a big impact on the La Liga title race too. Atletico would dearly love to put a big dent in the Real title challenge even if it does look like they’re going to take over. Real have been involved in some very dramatic games recently but they have found a way to win from difficult situations. 2-0 down against Almeria to win 3-2 in injury time is just classic Real – but in reality they shouldn’t have been 2-0 down against the side sitting nailed to the bottom of the table! These two have met recently – they have had exceptionally entertaining games in January. Real won 5-3 in the Spanish Super Cup in Saudi Arabia and then Atletico won 4-2 in the Copa del Rey when the sides came back. If we even get half the drama of those games then we should have an excellent game here. With home advantage, Real come into the game as the odds on favourites at 1.78 with Atletico 4.9 and the draw is 4.2 at the time of writing. Real have definitely been the better side this season, but the Madrid Derby is always very intense and we generally see goals too.

Over 2.5 goals has collected in five of the last six meetings. That’s trading 1.7 here so obviously the market sees goals in this one – to be honest it’s hard not to see an open game here. Real have been very sloppy at the back recently, and Atletico have been conceding a lot of chances this season. Atletico actually have an average xG conceded of 1.47 away from home this season which is quite high. They are creating less than that too, so that would make the 1.78 on Real feel very big too. Both Teams To Score is also trading within the same range at 1.73. To be honest a good case can be made for all three bets in my opinion, but I’m going to opt for the Real win at 1.78. It’s the biggest price of the three, and Atletico just haven’t been putting in very impressive performances away from home. We know this is an exceptionally tough place to come and get a result – you really need to be at your best and that just isn’t the case. Atletico have already lost to Barcelona, Athletic Bilbao and Girona away from home this season – all the sides around them, and they can add Real Madrid to that list here in my opinion. The 1.78 is worth a confident bet to end what could be a classic Sunday from Europe.

The Ultra Says:
Three points win Real Madrid to beat Atletico Madrid at 1.78 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.
