INTER MILAN V ROMA

2pm We have a cracking Sunday from Europe on BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE with the focus fully on Serie A! We’ve had a lot of fixture movement over the last week with the death of the Pope, but we have a huge Sunday ahead. We kick off the action with the highlight fixture of the day as Inter Milan host Roma. Inter Milan desperately need something good to happen here after a tough week; they lost 1-0 to Bologna last Sunday and then got hammered 3-0 by AC Milan in the Coppa Italia Semi-Final on Wednesday night. They now head into today level on points with Napoli in the title race, and they also have a Champions League Semi-Final to prepare for to so they have a massive few weeks coming up. Inter Milan come into the game as the odds on favourites at 1.84 with Roma 4.9 and the draw is 3.85 at the time of writing. It took a while for Claudio Ranieri to settle in when he came out of retirement to take over early in the season, but he is cooking now. Roma are unbeaten in their last 17 Serie A games! That’s an excellent run, and they have been a lot more solid at the back too.

Roma have kept seven clean sheets in their last ten Serie A games, so Inter Milan have a tough task ahead of them. Inter do have the best attacking figure in Serie A though, and they have been just as solid at the back as Roma have this season. This should be a high quality game, and you have to say this fixture falls at an awkward time for Inter. They have a massive Champions League Semi-Final coming up in a few days and now they face a Roma side bang-in-form. I have to say the 1.84 looks a little short on Inter in my opinion; I’m happy with a small lay from a value point of view. I can see Roma making this one a lot closer than odds of 1.84 suggest on Inter – they are full of confidence and have that extended unbeaten run in Serie A. I’m not going to go crazy with the stakes, but the 1.84 looks a nice lay to start the day. This should be a fascinating game, especially given the title race!

The Ultra Says:
Two points lay (liability) Inter Milan to beat Roma at 1.84 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.

NAPOLI V TORINO

7.45pm We stay in the title race to finish Sunday night as Napoli host Torino. Napoli fans will be glued to the TV for the Inter Milan v Roma game earlier in the day – given the long unbeaten run for Roma, Napoli fans can be hopeful of a positive result there. Even before we go into that game, it’s been a good week for Napoli with Bologna beating Inter Milan last weekend. That means they come into this weekend level on points and everything to play for. As I’ve mentioned many times before, Napoli have been over-performing this season but it’s hard to begrudge them a little luck in front of goal given they finished mid-table last season with the best attacking figure. Napoli have been exceptional at the back this season though; they have the third best defensive figure with an average xG conceded of 1.13 – they are conceding less than a goal a game on average this season which is obviously a very impressive stats in a competitive league. It’s not a surprise to see Napoli come into this game as the odds on favourites at 1.45 with Torino 9.8 and the draw is 4.7 at the time of writing.

Torino are sitting in mid-table, but they have really struggled to create good quality chances this season. They have an average xG created of 1.14 which is the fourth worst attacking figure in Serie A this season. Why they sit in mid-table is they have been getting away with things at the back – their average xG conceded if 1.56 but their actual figure is 1.12. When sides are creating what they are conceding, that usually equals mid-table all nearly all of Europe’s elite leagues. That average xG conceded figure of 1.56 for Torino is the joint-third worst defensive figure too – there actually isn’t much going for Torino looking at their stats but obviously they have been getting away with things at the back. I couldn’t put anyone off a bet on Napoli here at 1.45 to be honest, however I feel they can cover the handicap on the way to winning too. They are trading 2.28 which looks cracking value to cover a 1.5 goal handicap. I’m happy with a confident bet to finish an intriguing day.

The Ultra Says:
Three points win Napoli -1.5 goals to beat Torino at 2.28 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.
