BOLOGNA V AC MILAN

7.45pm It’s been an excellent week from Europe on BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE, and we continue the midweek action with a Serie A fixture as Bologna host AC Milan. This is an absolutely huge game for both sides in the race for the European spots this season. After they both got into the Champions League last season, they’re in a disappointing position coming into the game as they sit in 7th and 8th. For Bologna, maybe that was expected but for AC Milan it’s been bitterly disappointing. They did manage to win the Italian Super Cup; but they just haven’t been getting over the line in enough Serie A games this season.

We should have an exceptionally close game here, and it’s no surprise that we have a very open betting heat. AC Milan come into the game as the favourites at 2.64 with Bologna 2.96 and the draw is 3.4 at the time of writing. Both sides have played better football than their results – AC Milan have the third best attacking figure while Bologna have the fifth best. They have been under-performing though; AC Milan haven’t been converting their chances and Bologna have been conceding more goals than they should.

Bologna have actually been exceptionally good on paper at the back. Their average xG conceded is only 1.01 which is the best defensive figure in Serie A this season. They’ve been a little sloppy along with sides scoring from awkward angles against them, and they’ve conceded over that – that’s why they sit in mid-table rather than the top four! AC Milan haven’t been converting their chances, but they have conceded less goals than Bologna despite actually conceding more chances! When you put everything together, Bologna have been the third best performing side in Serie A and AC Milan the fourth.

It’s disappointing for them to be sitting in 7th and 8th then – they have the same amount of points, and there’s a little gap to Lazio in fifth. They are six points behind and then eight points behind Juventus in fourth – I can’t see them closing that gap. It’s hard to see past a very close game here as both sides are evenly matched, especially with Bologna having home advantage. The draw makes a lot of appeal at 3.4, as does Under 2.5 goals at 1.92. I couldn’t put anyone off either bet, but given the defensive record of both sides this season Unders looks a cracking bet at 1.92.

The Ultra Says:
Three points win Under 2.5 goals at 1.92 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.
