WORLD CUP QUALIFIERS: Our football tipster The Ultra previews Thursday’s World Cup Qualifiers between LITHUANIA V NORTHERN IRELAND and HUNGARY V ENGLAND both with a recommended BETDAQ bet.

LITHUANIA V NORTHERN IRELAND

7.45pm We have another big night of World Cup Qualifiers on Thursday and we kick the evening off with a must win game for Northern Ireland away to Lithuania. Both sides were always going to have a massive task to try and qualify from a Group with Italy and Switzerland in it, and they have already both had losses to the big two with Northern Ireland losing to Italy and Lithuania to Switzerland. Northern Ireland’s qualification hopes, if they had any, probably got wrote off after a home draw with Bulgaria but anything bar a win here would be very disappointing. Northern Ireland also had a very disappointing Nations League campaign when they got relegated to Group C where Lithuania also play their football. It’s fair to say we should have a close game here, but Northern Ireland look the value at 1.8 or bigger on BETDAQ Betting Exchange.

Both sides played a couple of friendlies in the summer, but I wouldn’t read too much into them. They came at a very odd time at the end of the club season, but if you look at the recent results as a whole for Lithuania then you would be very disappointed if Northern Ireland loss here. Lithuania have lost to the likes of Latvia, Estonia and Kosovo in their last six games – of course I know Northern Ireland wouldn’t be long odds on to beat those sides, but you would expect them too. For me this game is all about levels, and Northern Ireland play their football at a higher level than Lithuania – I know both sides are reasonably poor compared to anywhere close to the top sides, but Northern Ireland should outclass Lithuania and I’d have them shorter than 1.8.

The Ultra Says:
Two points win Northern Ireland to beat Lithuania at 1.8 with BETDAQ Exchange.

HUNGARY V ENGLAND

7.45pm We finish the evening with Hungary hosting England in a top of the table clash in Group G. At the start of the Group you probably would have said Poland would be the biggest challengers to England, but after everyone has played two games it is Hungary who sit second. It’s early days though, and it’s likely Hungary will fall away as the games go on. I don’t think there’s any doubt that England will top the Group – they are three from three already and beat Poland 2-1. A win here would likely seal first – even so early in the Group. Hungary were pretty average in Euro 2020 – especially going forward and their xG figures aren’t that good. Obviously it’s always somewhat tricky to win away from home against sides like Hungary, but England should get the job done here. They look great value at 1.47 as I’d have them a lot closer to trading 1.4.

Although they were ultimately outplayed in the Euro 2020 Final by Italy – they had an incredible tournament prior to the final. They were very solid at the back, not conceding a goal in their first five games and then only conceded once against Denmark and once against Italy which is no shame, they are two top class sides who were creating a lot of chances during the whole tournament too. You could say England were very negative after taking an early lead – they never attacked that final and chose to sit back. That was a shame considering they had the talent in their XI to cause Italy a lot of problems at the back. Given England are so solid at the back, this will likely win the game for them here – Hungary are a poor side going forward who don’t create many chances. England are the better side here and the 1.47 is very much worth backing.

The Ultra Says:
Four points win England to beat Hungary at 1.47 with BETDAQ Exchange.
