FIFA CLUB WORLD CUP: The Ultra previews REAL MADRID v JUVENTUS with a recommended BETDAQ bet.
REAL MADRID V JUVENTUS
8pm We have a massive Last 16 tie at the FIFA Club World Cup as Real Madrid clash with Juventus on BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE on Tuesday night! It’s been a difficult draw for Juventus – they landed in a Group with Manchester City, and now they face Real Madrid in the first knockout game! It was always likely this would happen; City are a level above this Juventus side who haven’t been at their best for a few seasons now. While Real Madrid were always going to top Group H bar a complete shock – even drawing their first game was a surprise!
This should be a cracking tie though. It’s no surprise that Real Madrid come into the game as the odds on favourites – they are trading 1.72 with Juventus 5.7 and the draw is 3.95 at the time of writing. As you would have expected, Juventus recorded two easy wins over Al Ain and Wydad Casablanca but then they were put in their place by City conceding five goals in the final Group game. They actually conceded 76% possession too, and considering that you’d put Manchester City and Real Madrid in the same bracket quality wise – Juventus have their hands full here again!
As I said above, anything bar Real Madrid topping their Group would have been a massive shock given the quality of opposition in Group H. Some of the performances have been alarming though. Obviously all eyes were on how they would play under Alonso, and I have to say the jury is out. Ironically – they were very unlucky to only draw with Al Hilal as they finished the game with an xG of 2.32. However, they only managed 1.09 against Pachuca while conceding an xG of 2.83! Again against Salzburg their xG figure was only 1.46 – obviously both times they scored three goals but it’s not like they were banging the door down with chances.
That would just put me off the 1.72 here on Real Madrid. I would have just liked them to be creating more against very average opposition – even if they won easily. Juventus have obviously been in the goals at this tournament – the City game was very entertaining and they had two high scoring wins before that. Over 2.5 goals is trading 1.79 and Both Teams To Score is 1.87. I have to say I was very surprised to see both of those prices given the way these two sides play. Real Madrid have been conceding plenty of chances too at this tournament; I feel we’ll have a very open and entertaining game here. I also feel we’re getting so much value at 1.79 on Overs that it’s worth a Five Star NAP!
The Ultra Says:
Five points win Over 2.5 goals at 1.79 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.
