WALES V POLAND

7.45pm It’s crunch time at the Euro 2024 Playoffs on BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE with Wales hosting Poland in the Path A Final. A place at Euro 2024 awaits, and Wales will be delighted to have home advantage in such a big game. Cardiff was absolutely rocking as they beat 4-1 Finland on Thursday night, and the atmosphere will be turned up a notch here with so much at stake. You’d have to say that Poland haven’t been at their best for a while, and although we have an open market, Wales are the favourites.

Wales are trading 2.58 with Poland 3.35 and the draw is 3.1 at the time of writing. We could easily need more than the 90 minutes here to find a winner, and everything points to a very close game. Wales have a poor record against Poland, they have lost the last five meetings, but this Poland side is there for the taking if Wales can perform. Wales lost here in the Group stage against Armenia, but then again Poland finished behind Albania which was a big shock in fairness. Albania only managed two points in a Nations League Group with Israel, Iceland and Russia! It’s pretty eye-catching in regards to this tie that Poland lost to Moldova and Albania as well as Czech Republic.

We also have some recent form between these two as they were in the same Nations League Group. Wales got relegated, but an A Group is a level too high for them. They are going to bounce around between promotion from a B Group and then back down again. Wales only managed one point in a Group with Netherlands and Belgium along with Poland. They lost twice to Poland who only managed seven points – Poland won 2-1 with home advantage and then won 1-0 here in the final Group game. Poland have been on a downward trajectory for a while though – they were expected to cruise through their qualifying Group but here we are.

We had two high scoring games in the Semi-Finals with Wales scoring four and Poland five, but it would be a surprise if we got a high scoring game here. You’d have to expect a very cagey game here, at least to begin with anyway, and Under 2.5 goals is trading 1.58. I know that Armenia loss is obviously a major worry, but outside of that Wales are usually very solid here. It’s their only recent competitive loss here, and they have played some big sides too. While we have an open market, I would have Poland a little bigger than 3.35. The value call is a Poland lay in my opinion; their away form has been pretty poor and that could be the difference. It’s nice to have the draw on our side in what should be a very close game.

The Ultra Says:
Two points lay (liability) Poland to beat Wales at 3.35 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.
