ISTANBUL BASAKSEHIR V MANCHESTER UNITED

5.55pm Another dramatic night of Champions League action awaits! It’s fantastic that we have different kick off times for the Premier League sides tonight as we have two cracking fixtures. All eyes will be on Manchester United as they travel to take on Istanbul Basaksehir. United have maximum points from two tricky games against PSG and RB Leipzig, but their domestic form is completely different! They created very little in a 1-0 defeat against Arsenal at the weekend, and they have yet to win at home in the Premier League this season.

You don’t need me to tell you that Istanbul Basakshir play their football a few levels below Manchester United but I still wouldn’t be happy backing United at 1.55 on BETDAQ Betting Exchange. That just feels too short looking at how they are playing at the moment. Aside from the 5-0 win over Leipzig where the goals came very late, they have been creating very little. You only have to look at their xG figures to see why they couldn’t beat the likes of Chelsea and Arsenal at home. Basaksehir have their own issues up front, and they have yet to score in this Champions League. I like under 2.5 goals at 2.24 which looks cracking value. More than likely we’ll see United grind out a 1-0 win, or 2-0 like PSG and RB Leipzig did, but this is unlikely to be a high quality game of football.

The Ultra says:
Two points win Under 2.5 goals at 2.24 on BETDAQ Betting Exchange.

CHELSEA V RENNES

8pm Chelsea play Rennes at 8pm, and I like Chelsea here at 1.39 as for me they should be closer to 1.3 against this Rennes side, but I do fancy something at a bigger price. Rennes could only manage a 1-1 draw with Krasnodar, although in fairness they were a little unlucky looking at the xG numbers. They still conceded an xG of 1.29 and we saw how poor Krasnodar were against Chelsea. They got battered by Sevilla, although the score line only read 1-0, Sevilla won the game 2.93 to 0.09. Chelsea have been good at the back lately, although they do have some terrible errors, they’ve managed to keep four clean sheets in a row.

My bet is Both Teams Not To Score. I can see Chelsea keeping another clean sheet here and it looks great value at 1.87. I can see a very easy win for Chelsea, and while the 1.39 is a tempting bet – I do feel that Rennes will create next to nothing. I feel this game will be very similar to the Rennes game against Sevilla. I fully take on board that Chelsea do made mistakes at the back, so it won’t be a max bet, just a very confident one. It was great to land my first max bet of the season on Monday, but the next one won’t come yet!

The Ultra says:
Three points win Both Teams Not To Score at 1.87 on BETDAQ Betting Exchange.
