THE BEST OF THE PREMIER LEAGUE ACTION STARTING WITH THE LONDON DERBY: The first thing we have to remember with this game is that Tottenham have only lost one game this season. They are a decent side and I’ve enjoyed watching them this season.
I think Pochettino has done really good job there. He’s got them a bit like how he had Southampton in how they’ve progressed and he’s made them a real difficult side to play against now. They are going to be a tough nut to crack and they’re a better team than their position would suggest.
This is going to be a tough game for Arsenal and Wenger has plenty of injury worries as well but if Koscielny plays, that will be a big bonus for them but they’ve lost Bellerín, he’s definitely out. I just think this is a big ask for Arsenal especially having played Bayern midweek. They now have to go and play a London Derby which is possibly one of the worst games you could have after being stuffed midweek.
I always had a good record, as a player, scoring against Spurs. For a long time they were seen as an easy touch but not anymore. They’re now fifth in the table, with only one defeat and they’ve been hard to play against this season. Harry Kane is firing again, they haven’t conceded many goals and they have four players in the England squad. That will tell you how well they’re doing. They’re a more complete team now than they were and with the likes of Dembélé, they are a really strong side.
I think the Draw and Tottenham is a nice bet but I’m more prepared to Lay Arsenal in this one, I think is a good Lay this week. Arsenal have a good record against Spurs but that was against much weaker teams.
CLEAN SHEET WILL BE TOUGH FOR WEST BROM
I cannot see, for love nor money, Tony Pulis being able to inspire West Brom to keep a clean sheet. We spoke before about how much he loves to try keep a clean sheet after a defeat but he has to go to Old Trafford and try do that this time and I really can’t see it happening.
They won’t offer anything adventurous and I don’t believe West Brom will score so I think we could have a small bet on United to two-nil. West Brom will find it hard to keep a clean sheet.
WATFORD CAN OVERTURN LEICESTER
This could be a cracking game. Watford are a funny side and they are too big a price for this game. And when you look at this game, you’ll see that the three top scorers in the Premier League come from these two teams! I definitely think this will be a game with goals and Watford look the value. Watford are more than capable of going to Leicester and taking the game to them.
I don’t see this game ending in a draw. I see it ending with goals and it will be fairly even and I think if there is a winner, I think it will be Watford.
I can’t see this game ending goalless so Both Teams to Score is another good bet as a saver on Watford.
KLOPP SET FOR ANOTHER WIN AGAINST PALACE
At just a shade of odds on, I like Liverpool to beat Crystal Palace this weekend. I think Liverpool are starting to show more of a Klopp style of team. They are more effective, dynamic, they are attacking better and they are not conceding many goals.
I know they only played on Thursday in the Europa League and that can come at a cost but not this week, I just can’t see it happening here.
Liverpool have been creating a lot of chances lately and Klopp seems to have a much better attitude. They’re passing is much better and they’re not taking the easy sideways pass. They went to Chelsea and won 3-1 but could have scored 5. They surprised me that day how strong they were in attack but they haven’t been giving things away as much now either.
I really feel that Klopp is one of the biggest signings of a manager for a long time. I think, the way it ended with Brendan, Liverpool were just so keen to get Klopp in case they missed the opportunity. He plays fearless football which is quite exciting and you have to remember that he hasn’t even made a signing yet! That is something that he excels in.
There is loads of class in Liverpool and Klopp is the man that can turn it around and he can get another win against Crystal Palace this weekend.
