This race was once staged at the “Stow” and has moved up the M4 corridor to Swindon.
The final of the Arc is all about the character in Trap 1 Longwood warrier who should have a Timeform squiggle in a race that contains five front runners and he’s not one of them, it’s a ‘view only’ race for me.
First race I will play in is the 7.34 where the race should be decided at the first bend, in a race that contains six railers.
I think 1 and 4 the most likely leaders with preference to 4.
Trap 1 Butts Mott has progressed through the grades, From A5 to A1 at Monmore and ran well in the 1st round of the Arc but was KO’d.
Trap 2 Forest Mollie and the bitch I want to lay Trap 3 Sharies Miller came together on the 10th of April both had early crowding with Trap 3 getting the better. But now you are taking 7/4 about her and she was the same price taking on weaker dogs when drawn 1.
Shes not for me at that price.This leaves the door open for Trap 4 Forest Dot who’s been winning of late without
leading but the inside 3 will pave the way for her.
Trap 5 isn’t fast enough and all wins have come out of 1.
Trap 6 is drawn well but is a grader, 40 runs and yet to break duck in open company.
TREVDAQ SELECTION – 7.34 SWINDON
LAY TRAP 3 Sharies Miller at anything up to 3.0.
I want to be a punter in the 8.04 wheres its about 4.5 the field.
Trap 1 Ardkill Star would be better drawn middle, two moderate performances in the Arc which saw him beat Gemstone Jack who got kicked around like a football.
Trap 2 Matties Mate Local Dog who is 2 from 3 over CD and should run well at a double figure price.
Trap 3 Headleys Charly won 6/19 at Nottingham, Monmore and Romford – all coming from 1 and 2. He’s 0 from 7 from Trap 3 and desperate for the rail.
Trap 4 Gemstone Jack a character – a slow away fast finisher who excites. Unlucky in the Arc, a Hove winner over 515, trip will suit and he will be loitering with intent at the finish and is my selection.
Trap 5 Stress Force is my stake saver selection. 7 with Ladbrokes, trips ideal, he has plenty of early with 2 slow starters either side and a winner over 575 at Romford. The only hang up I have with this impressive
Henlow winner is not a lot of them win outside Henlow.
Trap 6 Crusty Crab This 5yo never gets lines of form together, 9/27 in career starts but goes missing for months, a dog that probably doesn’t take to a lot of racing.
