WEEK AHEAD: The FIFA World Cup continues with the quarter finals this week and all eyes on England v France on Saturday night ….


MONDAY
Monday’s action starts off with the conclusion of England’s first Test in Pakistan, live on Sky Sports from 05:00. We’ve already seen a tremendous performance from Ben Stokes’ side, will they close the curtains to this Test in style? After a thrilling end to the World Cup group stages, the last 16 kicks off, starting on the 3rd December but continuing into next week. On Monday at 15:00, Group E winners Japan face off against the runners up in Group F, Croatia, live on BBC. At 19:00 (ITV), Group G winners Brazil will battle it out against the Group H runners up South Korea. To round off Monday’s action, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers welcome the New Orleans Saints to the Raymond James Stadium, with coverage on Sky Sports from 01:00 on the 6th December.

TUESDAY
Tuesday brings fresh World Cup drama with Morocco taking the action to Spain at the Education City Stadium. Can Morocco produce the upset? Japan have already proved that anything can happen at this tournament, this one is a must watch! Tune in from 15:00 on ITV. If that monstrous match up doesn’t satisfy your World Cup appetite, there is more action coming your way with Portugal taking on Switzerland (19:00, ITV) with the final place in the quarter-finals up for grabs.

WEDNESDAY
On Wednesday we have a little bit of a mid-week lull in the action, with no World Cup games. But for those avid football fans fear not, there is some FA Cup football to keep you entertained with Stockport County against Charlton Athletic for their 2nd Round Replay, with their last meeting on November 26th ending in a 2-2 draw. Tune into ITV from 19:45.

THURSDAY
The Alfred Dunhill Championship begins its first day on Thursday, with live coverage on Sky Sports from 10:00. Early evening there is some more FA Cup action with Gillingham against Dagenham & Redbridge, live from 19:15 on the BBC. We close Thursday’s sporting events across the pond with the Los Angeles Rams v the Las Vegas Raiders for some NFL action from midnight on Sky Sports.

FRIDAY
Friday brings the return of England’s second Test against Pakistan, live from 05:00 on Sky Sports. You won’t need to change the channel to continue watching the Alfred Dunhill Championship with coverage starting at 10:00 on Sky Sports. After the short interval, the World Cup kicks off again from 15:00 with the quarter-finals, and then Netherlands take on Argentina in yet another fascinating match up at 19:00, all live on BBC/ITV.

SATURDAY
The second day of the second Test continues on Saturday morning, as usual from 05:00 on Sky Sports, followed by the Alfred Dunhill Championship for its third day at 10:00. From midday there is football galore with Blackburn versus Preston in the Championship, which is also live on Sky Sports. The football shenanigans carry on with the third World Cup quarter-final commending at 15:00 and before England face France at 19:00. Saturday night is a big one, but maybe one to stay in for this weekend if you don’t have tickets for Teofimo Lopez v Jose Pedraza, live from 01:00 on Sky Sports.

SUNDAY
We wrap things off on Sunday with another action-packed day of sports. Starting with the cricket continuing for its third day, followed by the fourth day of the Alfred Dunhill Championship, both at their usual times on Sky Sports. Up next, it’s a big one, with the WSL Manchester Derby of Manchester City v Manchester United, which will inspire its usual excitement and rivalry, live on BBC from 12:30. That match is followed by QPR v Burnley at 13:00 in the Championship, and more WSL with Aston Villa v Arsenal at 16:15, both live on Sky Sports. Finally, to wrap up an epic day of events we have Chelsea Women against the Reading Women at 18:45, also live on Sky Sports.
