WEEK AHEAD: After a frantic week of sporting action, we return to a more relaxed pace over the coming seven days with all eyes on the Premier League and the T20 World Cup.

A quiet week for live sport begins with the usual early Monday morning NFL action, when the Indianapolis Colts are in action against the San Francisco 49ers, live at 01:10 on Sky Sports.

Tuesday morning sees the attention switch to the US Southern Seaboard with the New Orleans Saints hosting the Seattle Seahawks at the Caesars Superdome from 01:00. A long wait before anything this side of the Atlantic gets underway is brought to an end at 19:45 when Arsenal are away to Leeds in the League Cup 4th Round.

On Wednesday England’s cricketers are in action in their second T20 World Cup fixture as they face the second placed qualifiers from Group B. Catch the first ball live from 11:00 on Sky Sports.

Liverpool are unbeaten in their first 12 games of the season and Championship side Preston North End look to have a huge task on their hands if they are to stop the Reds when they travel to Deepdale for a 19:45 (Sky Sports) kick-off.

There’s only one golf tournament on the men’s Tours this week, with the third inauguration of the Bermuda Championship beginning on Thursday at 19:00 on Sky Sports.

Friday sees a mighty clash in the NFL as the unbeaten Arizona Cardinals face up to the only-once-beaten Green Bay Packers in what promises to be a titanic clash at 01:20. There’s more rough and tumble with rugby on BT Sport from 19:00, when Gloucester face Exeter. QPR are in action in the Championship against Nottingham Forest at 19:45.

BT Sport is the place to be for an interesting early Saturday kick-off in the Premier League with Leicester v Arsenal at 12:30. There’s also a big game in the T20 World Cup to look forward to, as in a foreword to the upcoming Ashes series, England face Australia. The quality action then continues with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s Man United side looking to respond in the Premier League when they travel to the capital to face Spurs, live from 17:30 on Sky Sports. The third round of the Bermuda Championship brings the day to a close.

On Sunday, Rangers are in action on Sky Sports in the SPL early kick-off at 12:00, before action at Carrow Road with Norwich against Leeds United at 14:00. If you’d rather watch the rugby there’s Harlequins v Saracens on BT Sport (14:00). Then Aston Villa face up to a confident West Ham side at 16:30 on Sky Sports. Stick around for the conclusion of the Bermuda Championship from 17:00.
