GROUP 1 ACTION EARLY SATURDAY MORNING: WORLD RACING heads to Australia on Saturday morning for The Star Doncaster Mile – a Group 1 handicap due off at 7.15am. 🇦🇺
There are four Group 1 races on the Randwick card but the hugely competitive 20 runner The Star Doncaster Mile is probably the highlight. It’s due off at 7.15am on Saturday morning and don’t forget to check out the latest BETDAQ prices.
The first thing to note is that Chris Waller saddles eight runners but the key to the race may lie with Anthony Freedman’s Super Seth who won the Caulfield Guineas back in October and can probably be forgiven a below par effort last time out when seventh in the Group 1 George Ryder at Rosehill having not been given the best of rides.
He has a good draw in 2 and is relatively lightly raced so further improvement can’t be ruled out.
Melody Belle is a worthy favourite having already won 10 Group 1 races and is sure to make another bold bid despite having to share top weight of 57kg.
