PUNCHESTOWN NAP: SHAMROCK’s nap on Saturday runs at Punchestown in the Listed Mares Hurdle at 2.20pm.

Commander Of Fleet looks a very interesting runner in 1.45 at Punchestown this afternoon. The Gordon Elliott trained runner has already won a point to point and a bumper and aims to extend his unbeaten run in his first hurdle race this afternoon. He will start at prohibitive odds but is a must watch for the future.

The Listed Frontline Security Grabel Mares Hurdle at 2.20pm is one of the feature races on Saturday’s card and Good Thyne Tara should enjoy a fitness advantage here over her principal rivals.

The Willie Mullins trained mare was a disappointing favourite in a similar race at Limerick last time out but made several mistakes that day and it just looked a poor day at the office.  She appeals as a better bet than her shorter priced stable companion Stormy Ireland who was bogged down in third in France last time out.
