BALLINROBE ON TUESDAY: SHAMROCK looks ahead to the jumps card at Ballinrobe on Tuesday where there is an eight race card starting at 2.35.

Credulous might be the answer to the opening maiden hurdle at Ballinrobe this afternoon.

The Gordon Elliott trained runner ran well on debut when second to Celtic Artisan at Listowel. The Willie Mullins trained Verawal, previously a winner at Down Royal, was sent off the odds-on favourite for that race but could only finish third.

Willie Mullins runs Tarabiyn in today’s race who is closely matched with Cabarete on Roscommon form. Only a neck separated the pair when they were 2nd (Cabarete) and 3rd (Tarabiyn) but there must be every chance that Tarabiyn can turn that form around given it was his first run over hurdles.

The Willie Mullins trained Rough Justice should be able to repeat his course and distance success from last month in the 5.40. This is much more competitive but he won under a hands and heels ride that day and had previously won over hurdles too.

SHAMROCK’S BETS:
NAP: Credulous (2.35 Ballinrobe)
NEXT BEST: Rough Justice (5.40 Ballinrobe)
