KNIGHT TO LAND HAT-TRICK: The Gordon Elliott trained Knight’s Parade looks set to complete a hat-trick by landing the 2.40 at Downpatrick today.
Knight’s Parade looks the answer to the Visit toals.co.uk Rated Hurdle in which most of the eight strong field can be given some kind of a chance.
The Gordon Eliott trained runner has made a successful transition to hurdles and is also a multiple winner on the flat. He was won his last two races over hurdles with ease, the latest of which coming at Carlisle where he stayed on strongly to beat Golans Choice by five lengths.
He showed his current well-being with a win back on the flat at Dundalk last time out and looks set to continue his upward progression.
Massini’s Trap ran well when fourth in a handicap hurdle at Tipperary last time out and has been contesting some competitive flat races. He looks the biggest danger to the nap.
