SATURDAY NAP WINS: Dylan Ross landed Saturday’s NAP for Shamrock winning well at Fairyhouse at odds of 4/5.
MUNSTER HANDICAP: One of several cracking jumps races at Limerick today.
FLAT FANS: Are well catered for at Curragh with a good betting card that includes the Irish Cesarewitch.
Both today’s Irish venues stage an excellent days racing catering for flat and jumps fans in equal proportions.
At Limerick the jumps season steps up a gear and last years shock winner of the Munster National Golden Kite is out for a folow-up attempt. Adrian Maguire’s runner is hardly in the best form coming into the race but the same can be said about last year and at around 22 on BETDAQ morning trade is worthy of win and place support. He scraped home by a short head last year but despite the big field is just one of two course and distance winners here and is sure to have been prepared with this race as his main target.
Loosen My Load couldn’t have been more impressive when winning at Navan on his seasonal reappearance at 8/11. He will be a similar price today in the grade 3 PricewaterhouseCoopers Chase at 5.05 and should see off British raider West With The Wind. He is my nap of the day given the good current form of trainer Henry de Bromhead.
At Curragh big fields are again the order of the day and in the listed fillies contest I’m against Aidan O’Brien’s Homecoming Queen who maybe vulnerable to one of the lighter raced runners most notably Swerve.
The O’Brien team may well enjoy better fortunes in the opener with I Have A Dream who can prove best of several smartly bred debutants.
SHAMROCK’S BETS:

WIN and PLACE: Golden Kite (Limerick 4.35)
