THREE WINNERS OUT OF FIVE: SHAMROCK had a super Sunday with THREE WINNERS OUT OF FIVE including his NAP and NEXT BEST.
That turned out all right!!!
Three winners from the five selections on Sunday and unfortunately a faller with Perfect Promise in the Ladbrokes Munster National.
Sunday’s five tips were:
2.55 Curragh BEST IN THE WORLD (NAP) WON 4/6
4.40 Curragh VARIABLE (NEXT BEST) WON 5/2
2.25 Curragh FORT DEL ORO WON 3/1
4.05 Curragh SILVER CONCORDE 7th
3.45 Limerick PERFECT PROMISE fell
Best In The World (also DAQMAN’s BANKER) improved, as expected, from her debut second to land the Listed Staffordstown Stud Stakes on her second start. Whilst not a wide margin winner, she got the job done well and found extra when pressed by the closer Dolce Strega.
Winning trainer Aidan O’Brien said after the race: “She came on nicely from Gowran and will make a lovely middle-distance filly next year. Ryan said she feels like her sister (Found). You would have to be happy with that, and Ryan was kind to her.”
No Irish action on Monday but the Curragh race again tomorrow with an eight race card underway at 1.35pm.
