CHAMPIONS LEAGUE: We preview Tuesday’s match in the Champions League between LEICESTER v ATLETICO MADRID and REAL MADRID v BAYERN MUNICH with recommended BETDAQ bets.
LEICESTER V ATLETICO MADRID
7.45pm After Atletico could only win 1-0 in the first leg, this is set up to be a fantastic night at the King Power stadium. Leicester did well to keep the scoreline to just one, but they’ll have to be more attacking tonight. It’s a fairly open market compared to the first leg, with the odds at the time of writing; Leicester 4.0, Atletico 2.1 and the draw 3.55.
It’s hard to see Atletico crumbling under pressure like Sevilla did here in the last round, however Leicester will like the look of Atletico’s Champions League away record. They’ve only managed six wins in their last 15 away Champions League games, and they’ve lost four of their last six away Champions League knockout games. Obviously these loses have came against sides better than Leicester, however it does make Atletico look short at 2.1 – and they do like to defend away from home, so they’ll probably set up quite negative.
It will no doubt be hard to break down a well drilled and disciplined Atletico side, however Leicester have been in superb form recently. They have just leaked a few goals for us to be backing them at 3.9 however – but the Atletico lay appeals a lot at 2.1 – as we said it’s hard to see them being very attacking when they know a draw puts them through. Over 2.5 goals might appeal to many too at 2.32 when a home side have to chase the game, but we marginally prefer the Atletico lay at 2.1.
BETDAQ BEST BET:
Lay Atletico at 2.1.

REAL MADRID V BAYERN MUNICH
7.45pm Real Madrid did a lot of hard work in the first leg here and with them leading 2-1 along with their superb home record, Bayern have their hands full. The odds at the time of writing currently stand at; Real Madrid 2.48, Bayern Munich 2.9 and the draw is 3.9.
Since the start of last season, Real Madrid have played 22 Champions League games and only lost once. At home, they’ve only lost one of their last 34. Stats like those make Bayern look very short at 2.9 – granted that Real had a huge advantage in the first leg when Martinez was sent off, the game was still 1-1 at the time. You’d have to think that Vidal’s missed penalty was huge mentally for both sides!
It’s difficult to know what tactics Real will employ because they find themselves in a situation where a draw will do against a really top side. They are used to attacking at home, but maybe they might be a bit cagey towards the start here. With Real superb home record though and the fact that there wasn’t much between the sides in Munich, we can’t get away from the Bayern lay at 2.9. They simply look too short away from home against a top side like Real.
BETDAQ BEST BET:
Lay Bayern Munich at 2.9.
