DOUBLE LISTED ACTION AT LEOPARDSTOWN: SHAMROCK looks ahead to the two Listed races on the Leopardstown card tonight.

A winning nap last night – Coquin Mans maintaining his unbeaten record with a 4/6 win at Wexford.

There are two races on the Leopardstown card tonight:

6:50 Glencairn Stakes (Listed) (3yo+, Class 1, 1m, 9 runners)

Dermot Weld won this last year and must have every chance of another win, this time with Making Light who was a Group 3 winner here last season. She won the Killavullan Stakes which was over seven furlongs and stayed on in great style.

Brendan Bracken is better than Listed class at best and looks the biggest danger. He was certainly by no means disgraced in the Group 2 Mooresbridge Stakes when third to Epsom Oaks winner Minding. I just wonder though whether he can concede the weight and might need it a little softer.

7:25 King George V Cup (Listed) (3yo, Class 1, 1m 4f, 7 runners)

This could well be a big race double for Dermot Weld who runs Eziyra here. The filly is having her first start since winning the Group 3 Weld Park Stakes at the Curragh in September when she had plenty in hand.

Night Of Glory fully deserves this step up in class after winning his maiden well at the Curragh on just his second start and looks the danger.

SHAMROCK’S BETS:
NAP: Making Light (6.50 Leopardstown)
NEXT BEST: Eziyra (7.25 Leopardstown)
