PREMIER LEAGUE SATURDAY: We preview Saturday’s Premier League games which start at 12.30pm with SWANSEA v MAN U. The televised tea-time game is from the Britannia and sees STOKE v ARSENAL.
SWANSEA V MANCHESTER UNITED
12.30pm Swansea v Manchester United is the early kick off this Saturday and that means that all bets are 0% commission on BETDAQ, so let’s find a value winner! United got their campaign off to the best possible start last weekend winning 4-0 against West Ham, and the markets expect a follow up win here with Jose Mourinho’s men only trading 1.38. That’s a bit short for us to back, so we’ll have to look around the other markets. Swansea didn’t look too good against Southampton last weekend, and didn’t create much. The United team looked very impressive, creating plenty of chances, and with all the new signings performing well so quickly, we expect a relatively smooth win for United here and the -1.5 goal handicap looks great value at around 2.1.
BETDAQ BEST BET:
Manchester United -1.5 goals to beat Swansea at 2.1.

BOURNEMOUTH V WATFORD
3pm Bournemouth got off to a bad start last weekend when losing 1-0 to West Brom, and will be hoping to bounce back this week with home advantage. They look terribly short in the market at around 2.02, and will make an appealing lay for many this weekend. Watford had an opening weekend thriller against Liverpool, scoring right at the death to get a 3-3 draw, and you’d have to say that on balance they deserved a draw so it was no fluke. While the 2.02 on Bournemouth is a tempting lay, we prefer over 2.5 goals at 1.85 – both these sides look dodgy at the back, and with Watford taking advantage of Liverpool’s set piece struggles last weekend, we feel they can take the same advantage here against Bournemouth. Watford don’t look solid at the back themselves however, so overs looks the value.
BETDAQ BEST BET:
Over 2.5 goals at 1.85.

BURNLEY V WEST BROM
3pm Burnley produced the shock of the opening weekend when beating Chelsea, however they received more than a helping hand from Chelsea themselves with an early red card and some horrible defending. With West Brom’s style of play, we feel that we wont be seeing the same amount of goals in this one! West Brom grinded out a 1-0 win last weekend against Bournemouth, and they will be hoping for similar here – we all know their style by now, however Burnley had plenty of games here last season that finished with under 2.5 goals and for that reason, we like the unders at 1.6 in what should be a very tight affair.
BETDAQ BEST BET:
Under 2.5 goals at 1.6.

LEICESTER V BRIGHTON
3pm Brighton started life in the Premier League pretty well last weekend, until Manchester City’s class got them in the end. Many teams will receive worse beatings from City this season, and while they looked very lacking of ideas going forward – they did look solid at the back, and will probably base their season around that. Can they stop Leicester from scoring here though? Judging by the way they started against Arsenal, you’d have to think not, and the 1.77 on Leicester looks massive. They were unlucky to lose against Arsenal, but it was just one of those incredible games and they’ll have to move on. They created more than enough to suggest they should beat Brighton at home, and they look superb value at the odds.
BETDAQ BEST BET:
Leicester to beat Brighton at 1.77.

LIVERPOOL V CRYSTAL PALACE
3pm Liverpool survived an early penalty scare in their Champions League Qualifier in midweek against Hoffenheim, and it could have been a very different game had that early goal went in. However, they came through in the end with a 2-1 win, and should easily beat this Crystal Palace side looking at how they played in the first Premier League weekend. If you’re leaking three goals against Huddersfield, how many are you going to leak against this attacking Liverpool team? Over 2.5 goals is tempting at 1.6, however we like Liverpool -1.5 goals on the handicap more at 2.08 which looks too big given the way Palace started their season.
BETDAQ BEST BET:
Liverpool -1.5 goals to beat Crystal Palace at 2.08.

SOUTHAMPTON V WEST HAM
3pm West Ham were comfortably beaten by Manchester United on Sunday afternoon, however the way United played we can expect plenty of teams to suffer the same fate at Old Trafford this season. West Ham added well during the summer, and this is a good game to judge them on. Southampton really struggled for goals at times last season and judging on their first game last weekend against Swansea, they’re going to struggle again. They had home advantage, and yet it was a very dull game. Southampton currently trade 1.78 and that looks very short, we just feel that this one will be way closer than those odds suggest, and thus Southampton have to be laid.
BETDAQ BEST BET:
Lay Southampton at 1.78.

STOKE V ARSENAL
5.30pm Stoke are many punters selection to go down this season, however they did ok at Goodison last weekend, however ultimately they still lost 1-0. That means they have only won three Premier League games since February, and two of those sides are now in the Championship. Looking at those stats, you can see why they’re fancied to go down. Arsenal had a superb win against Leicester in the opening game, but they will have to win a different way in Stoke – they’ll have to grind. It’s always a reasonably tough place to go and win but we feel this Stoke team are lacking in class this season, and the 1.87 on an Arsenal win looks massive here.
BETDAQ BEST BET:
Arsenal to beat Stoke at 1.87.
