BEST BET IN LAST RACE: SHAMROCK looks ahead to the final race on the Navan card on Sunday which features the Ladbrokes Troytown Chase.

There’s been plenty of BETDAQ market support for the top weight Acapella Bourgeois who really needs to be winning this if he has lofty aspirations like the Gold Cup. He proved how much he likes this course with a remarkable win last season in the Ten Up Novice Chase where he made all the running and the others didn’t see which way he went – eventually 32 lengths clear at the line.
He didn’t show as much in two subsequent starts where he was highly tried in the RSA at Cheltenham and Champion Novice Chase at Punchestown but clearly expectations are high for a big run today on his first start for Willie Mullins.
For the best bet of the day I like Lady Ischia in the mares bumper at 3.35pm. She was a very easy winner last time out at Naas when again Patrick Mullins was onboard and she shouldn’t need to improve much to win this.
Crackerdancer was a 20 length winner of a very modest race over course and distance but now has a double penalty which will be tough to defy.
