PREMIER LEAGUE SUNDAY: We preview Sunday’s two Premier League games with a recommended BETDAQ bet and extended match stats. It’s Burnley v Leicester at 2pm and the weekend highlight Liverpool v Man U at 4.30pm.
BURNLEY V LEICESTER
2pm What a Super Sunday in store! All eyes will be on Anfield at 4-30, but first we have Burnley hosting Leicester. The away side have definitely dropped their level in recent weeks and their results can starting to show that. They lost last weekend against Southampton and couldn’t beat Aston Villa with home advantage in the League Cup semi-final. Burnley haven’t been great this season though, and they need to start picking up points to avoid a relegation fight.
The match odds at the time of writing currently trade; Burnley 4.5, Leicester 1.91 and the draw is 3.85. Leicester have lost three of their last five Premier League games, however they have had to come up against Manchester City and Liverpool. The loss to Southampton was very disappointing, and perhaps their confidence has taken a knock after being so easily beaten by City and Liverpool. With Burnley not playing great football, this will be a welcome drop in class for Leicester and they can get back to winning ways here. The 1.91 looks too big to ignore against a side like Burnley.

- Burnley have won two of their nine Premier League games against Leicester City (D2 L5), both home wins in January 2017 and April 2018.
- Leicester are looking to record a league double over Burnley for the first time since the 2012-13 season in the Championship; the Foxes haven’t won three consecutive league games against the Clarets since September 1906.

- Burnley have now gone 10 Premier League games without scoring a first-half goal, since beating West Ham 3-0 in November. The last team to have a longer run of games without netting in the opening 45 minutes were Burnley themselves in May 2015 (12 games).
- Excluding own goals, only Liverpool (16) have had more different goalscorers in the Premier League than Leicester this season (14). Indeed, only in 2016-17 (16) have the Foxes ever had more different scorers in the competition than they do this term.
- Burnley manager Sean Dyche has lost all four of his managerial meetings with Brendan Rodgers – the only manager he has faced more while losing each match is Arsène Wenger (seven defeats in seven games).
- Only Trent Alexander-Arnold (27) has created more chances from set plays than Leicester’s James Maddison this season (25). However, Burnley have conceded fewer goals from set piece situations than any other Premier League side this season (2, excluding penalties).
LIVERPOOL V MANCHESTER UNITED
4.30pm What a fixture this will be! We all know how much both sets of fans don’t like each other, and now after years of pain for Liverpool fans they have essentially won the league already while Manchester United fans are now the ones suffering. What a turnaround and it’s mostly all down to Klopp. This Liverpool side will break records this season, and they would dearly love to embarrass United here with a big scoreline.
The match odds at the time of writing currently trade; Liverpool 1.4, Manchester United 9.6 and the draw is 5.4. It shows how far United have fallen that they are trading as big as 9.6 to beat Liverpool but they simply haven’t been anywhere near the level of Liverpool this season. They are the only side to take points off Liverpool in the Premier League, but back at Anfield now Liverpool will win. They have made Anfield a fortress over the last two years and at 1.4, they are worth backing here. It’s a banker for every BETDAQ Multiple this weekend too. Liverpool easily brushed aside Manchester City here and now they can do the same to the red half of Manchester.
