CHAMPIONS LEAGUE SATURDAY: Our European football tipster The Ultra previews the Champions League action on Saturday between BARCELONA v NAPOLI and BAYERN MUNICH v CHELSEA both with a recommended BETDAQ bet.

BARCELONA V NAPOLI
8pm We have another fascinating night of Champions League football ahead! We start with Barcelona hosting Napoli after a 1-1 draw in the first leg. This is a very intriguing tie as neither side has been at their best domestically this season. Barcelona never looked like catching Real Madrid after falling behind while Napoli could only finish 7th in Serie A this season. Napoli did finish the season strongly however, and Barcelona’s problems have mainly come from being very weak at the back.
Napoli have had some nice results in the Champions League this season, and they did win a domestic trophy too. They will give Barcelona a difficult night, but all things considered Barcelona look fairly priced in the match odds market. The bet I like here is over 2.5 goals at 1.69. Barcelona have been very weak at the back, and so have Napoli. Barcelona aren’t a side who will defend an away goal advantage and with Napoli needing a goal, I’m very surprised to see 1.69 on goals considering how both sides have defended this season.

BAYERN MUNICH V CHELSEA
8pm This is a very interesting tie from a betting point of view. From a footballing point of view, it looks over. Bayern won the first leg without fuss 3-0 in London, and it’s almost impossible to see Chelsea come back from that. Bayern won the Bundesliga easily this season and were incredibly impressive after lockdown. They finished their season a lot earlier than the other leagues in Europe however, and they might need this outing to sharpen their fitness.
That makes the betting interesting as Bayern are 1.4 favourites. They don’t need to bust a gut to win either and I’d advise staying away from those odds and just watching. Chelsea haven’t got the quality to shock Bayern here but they have no choice to attack. I like Both Teams To Score at 1.7 which looks fair value. Chelsea have been very weak at the back this season and it’s hard to see Bayern not scoring, but with Bayern lacking a recent competitive game and Chelsea having some bright attacking options they can find the net too.
