SEVILLA V LEVANTE
6pm We have a cracking evening of La Liga action on Thursday! We start with Sevilla hosting Levante after holding Bayern Munich to a draw in the UEFA Super Cup. Unfortunately for them they were unable to lift the trophy but they performed well and have another solid season ahead of them. They started their La Liga campaign with a straightforward 3-1 over Cadiz which was in line with xG, while Levante have had one win and one loss from their two games.
Levante lost a crazy game 4-2 against Valencia, which is a bit of worry considering how poor Valencia have been at the start of the season, however they bounced back with a 3-1 win over Osasuna. This should be a home win given the gulf in class between the sides and Sevilla are deservedly 1.48 favourites. The bet that catches my eye though is under 2.5 goals at 2.3. I’m surprised it’s so big. Levante are generally solid at the back, although I take on board they have had a lot of action in their opening two games. Sevilla tend to start slow and build up to the second half where they are a very classy outfit. I expect a hard fought 1-0 or 2-0 Sevilla win, and like the unders at the odds.
The Ultra Says:
Two points win Under 2.5 goals at 2.3 with BETDAQ Exchange.

CELTA VIGO V BARCELONA
8.30pm We end the midweek La Liga fixtures with Celta Vigo hosting Barcelona. All things considered the season couldn’t have started better for Barcelona at the weekend given the summer of drama that they have had. Even Messi scored! Even though it was a penalty, Ronald Kowman would have been delighted with that, I’m sure he’ll be hoping that now the season has started we can focus on the football rather than the drama. Let’s see what Messi has in store this season!
Celta Vigo have played three La Liga games already, with two draws and one win. That win came against Valencia who had a summer fire sale and haven’t started the season well, while they created little against Eibar and Real Valladolid. Barcelona are obviously levels above those sides and with them starting the season in good form, they can make it two-from-two tonight. I can only see one way traffic here and I’m happy to back Barca at 1.55.
The Ultra Says:
Two points win Barcelona to beat Celta Vigo at 1.55 with BETDAQ Exchange.
