LA LIGA PREVIEW: Our European football tipster The Ultra previews Monday’s La Liga game between ATHLETIC BILBAO v GETAFE with a recommended BETDAQ bet.

8pm Just one game in Europe on Monday night as Athletic Bilbao take on Getafe in La Liga. I always find these types of games very interesting as Getafe are ahead of athletic Bilbao in the table but Bilbao have been playing much better football. There’s only two points in it mind, and we should have a very good game here. Getafe have grinded out two wins on the bounce, while Bilbao lost to Barcelona in their last La Liga game but won in the domestic Cup last week.
The market on BETDAQ Betting Exchange broadly agrees with my thoughts in the sense that Bilbao should be favourites. I have no arguments with their price at 2.4, alas that means no real value on offer though. I feel the match odds are pretty much bang on, but I do like a bet at 6.0+. I feel we’ll see a very close game here, and I felt unders jumped off the page before checking out the markets. Under 2.5 goals is priced at 1.4 however, which is about right for me.
The bet I like is 0-0 in the Correct Score market at 6.0 or bigger. I look at these two sides and can see them cancelling each other out. Neither create a lot of chances – Getafe especially like to keep games very tights and they have had a 1-0 win or loss in four of their last five games. Athletic Bilbao have seen their fair share of 1-0’s too, but I can see a 0-0 here between two very close sides who don’t create much in front of goal. Obviously when your taking odds at 6.0+, stakes should be kept in check and I’m happy to have a small investment, in what hopefully is a boring game!
