The final match of the Dubai quarter-finals sees Jo-Wilfried Tsonga and Juan Martin Del Potro meet in a clash of the big-hitters. These two have met five times in the past and it’s the Argentinean that leads the head-to-head four to one.
Del Potro secured a 2-1 sets win over Tsonga only last weekend in the semi-finals of Marseille to keep up his great form. The 2009 US Open champion has reached the last eight at the Apia International and Australian Open back in January this year. Del Potro has cruised through to this stage again on the back of some strong serving, although Tsonga has also impressed in the tournament so far.
The Frenchman is now up to fifth in the world rankings, but he faces a tough challenge later this afternoon. Del Potro has shown enough to warrant backing him at 1.76 on BETDAQ to land a second successive victory over his opponent.
