5-1 AND 6-1 HITS BIG ON BETDAQ: Daqman strikes again with a 33.50 profit yesterday from ‘overs’ on the BETDAQ offers for two crackers at Punchestown and Chelmsford.

WON 6-1 BROOMFIELD BIJOU (BETDAQ value 9.9)
WON 5-1 SPIRITED GUEST (BETDAQ value 8.2)

BETS AT 10.5, 11.5, 15.5 AND 16.0: The abandonment of Sandown cost me a night’s sleep and another good winner, says Daqman, who turns his attention to big races at Perth (11.5 and 15.5) and Punchestown before dabbling at big Chepstow offers (10.5 and 16.0).

LUCINDA COULD FIRE AT LAST

⭕ 2.05 Perth (Highland National) LAYS LOGIC The SP favourite has finished in the first four 10 times in 20 years but never won.

Destiny Is All climbed the handicap after three wins out of four and has been pushed up another 5lb for two seconds in cheekpieces.

Lucinda Russell, who trains Destiny Is All, has failed to score in 12 Highland National attempts but another from her yard, Return Fire, could take a step forward.

He looks a candidate for a marathon trip, his dam half-sister to an Irish National winner, and switches from an easy task in the 3.15.

Planned Paradise was second in the London National but is just 1-9 in the last year. Geryville is yet another who has strung together placed efforts: 222234223 wrapped around a single success in a three-horse race.

Silver In Disguise, back to form the last day, was disqualified after winning over today’s trip at Chepstow (banned substance) last March.

Fairlawn Flyer’s four in a row on soft-heavy excludes twice pulled up on sounder surfaces like today’s. Rath An Luir also needs deep ground. Concetto is only six and not guaranteed to stay.

Betdaq Betting Exchange 6.4 Planned Paradise, 11.5 Return Fire, 15.5 Silver In Disguise

BACKING FOR THE CHOSEN ONE

⭕ 4.15 Punchestown Willie Mullins, who has won this six years out of seven, drops both Kilcruit (Paul Townend) and Adamantly Chosen (last year’s winning jockey, Jack Foley) down from Grade 1.

Adamantly Chosen was the one for the money this morning, in from 9-1 to 7-1 with bookmakers. BETDAQ 5.3 Kilcruit, 8.8 Adamantly Chosen.

⭕ 5.25 Punchestown (Champion Hurdle) State Man seems to be supernap material, having already beaten his nearest rivals in the ratings, Vauban and Sharjah, in the Morgiana (here) and the Matheson (Leopardstown).

He went on to make it six in a row in the Irish Champion Hurdle, beating Honeysuckle, and only Constitution Hill at Cheltenham was his master. That’s a lot of racing but it’s the same for all in this field.

Vauban, third in the Irish Champion Hurdle (Pied Piper fifth), is entitled to keep his ‘nearly a hero’ status and, only five, improve another season.

Sharjah is 10 now and Zanahiyr, third past the post in the last two Champion Hurdles but last of five to State Man in the Irish version, was the equal of Sharjah at Aintree but both were left standing by Constitution Hill.

RIGHT COMPANY FOR HALIFAX

⭕ 8.10 Chepstow Strong credence given by the handicapper to Equinus (11st 12lb) and twice his age, Ballymagroarty Boy, 12st 1lb.

That one has a very poor strike rate (1-28 at the age of 10), and has top weight because raised to his highest-ever rating by a string of placed efforts. Equinus, on a learning curve, should improve stepped up in trip.

Good-ground mare Aimee De Sivola has dropped 10lb below her last winning mark and ran well in first-time cheekpieces the last day.

Langley Hundred had a good autumn on a soundish surface; up a grade here but still only six.

Halifax drops back down to his winning level, after attempting stronger races at Newbury and Haydock.

BETDAQ value 10.5 Halifax, 16 Aimee De Sivola (saver 3.7 Equinus)

What are points? Points facilitate a staking plan, which is the secret to creating profit. One point is whatever you choose: a pound, a euro, or whatever ….

Start with a bank and decide how much you can afford to lose over a period of time, and determine the size of your bets accordingly. Daqman makes this variation every day.
