WEDNESDAY SERIE A: The Ultra previews a great night of Serie A action with JUVENTUS v LECCE and MONZA v ROMA both with a recommended BETDAQ bet.
JUVENTUS V LECCE
5pm We have another brilliant night of action in Europe on Betdaq Betting Exchange this Wednesday! We have some fantastic games from Serie A to enjoy – proper important games in the top four race too! That’s where we start the evening as Juventus host Lecce. It looked like Juventus would be missing out on European football next season after they were slapped with a 15 point deduction after an investigation into their transfer business earlier in the season; however that’s been overturned. That put them back into the top four, and to be honest they would be in a superb position if they haven’t dropped so many points lately. They are without a win in their last four Serie A games, but they did break a run of losses with a draw away to Bologna at the weekend. Lecce also broke a run without a win at the weekend – they managed a 1-0 win at home to Udinese. That was very badly needed as they were creeping into a relegation battle. Verona have recorded plenty of results lately, and they joined Spezia on points now too. Lecce are four points ahead of them, and that’s a nice cushion but not a comfortable place to be at this stage of the season.
Juventus come into the game as the odds on favourites – currently trading 1.63 at the time of writing with Lecce 7.2 and the draw is 3.95. That price is probably a reflection of Juventus not being at their best this season – usually they would be shorter to beat a side towards the bottom of the table with home advantage. Juventus have had to grind out a lot of wins this season, and to their credit they have been doing that before this run. They were a lot better against Bologna at the weekend – prior to that they finished with a lower xG figure than they created against Napoli and Sassuolo. They were a little unlucky to lose against Lazio. Lecce try to keep games as tight as possible, and they are solid at the back in fairness – their average xG conceded this season is only 1.1. Those tactics cost them going forward, but their aim is really just to stay in Serie A so if that happens it will be a job well done. Lecce are going to be very negative here, and Juventus will have to grind out a win. I like Under 2.5 goals at 1.68 which is a little bigger than the Juventus win. I really don’t see many chances in this game.
The Ultra Says:
Two points win Under 2.5 goals at 1.68 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.

MONZA V ROMA
8pm We stay in Serie A next as Monza host Roma. With Lazio, Juventus, AC Milan, Inter Milan and Roma all in action tonight it’s going to be a massive night in the top four race. Roma have to do the hard work tonight, because they are the only side in the top four race that aren’t trading odds on to win. Jose Mourinho’s men are 2.28 at the time of writing with Monza 3.9 and the draw is 3.25. Roma have dropped points recently with a 3-1 loss away to Atalanta and then the 1-1 draw with AC Milan at the weekend. A draw there wasn’t a bad result, but the tough fixtures just keep coming for Roma as they meet Inter Milan on Saturday too. Juventus getting their 15 point deduction overturned did Roma no favours, but Lazio losing their last two games has brought them back into the mix too. It’s going to be a massive month for Roma who are also in a Europa League Semi-Final as well. Every game is absolutely massive at the moment. They bump into a Monza side who have won their last three games, and they have only been beaten once in their last eight games too. They were beaten 2-0 here by Lazio, but they were unlucky in that game as they created an xG figure of over three times what they conceded. Monza haven’t really been too “lucky” on this run too – they were lucky to beat Inter Milan away, but they are always going to have to grind out a win here.
Monza tend to keep games tight, and on their overall figures they marginally concede more chances than they create. Not surprising for a side sitting in mid-table to be honest. Roma have been one of the best sides at the back in Serie A this season – they are only conceding an average xG of 0.8 which is brilliant. Their average xG created is 1.6, but they aren’t taking all those chances as their average goals scored only works out at 1.4. They have been playing the better football than Monza this season, but I’m going to stay away from the match odds market – I know Roma have had injury issues lately, but I feel we’re getting more value in the goals market. Under 2.5 goals jumps off the page here at 1.6 in my opinion. As I said above, Roma have been very solid at the back and Mourinho just won’t set his side up for an open game here. Monza are in good form, and they rarely give too much away at the back as well. I wouldn’t be surprised to see a 0-0 here, but Unders looks a nice position at 1.6.
The Ultra Says:
Three points win Under 2.5 goals at 1.6 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.
