INTER MILAN V TORINO

7.45pm The focus for Monday night football from Europe this week on Betdaq Betting Exchange is on Serie A! Inter Milan are back in action as they begin their campaign hosting Torino. Inter came so close to landing another Serie A title last season as it went right down to the final day in the race with Napoli. Purely on under-lining numbers across the season, Inter played the better football – indeed the best football in Italy last season – but there was no stopping Napoli who rode a wave of momentum with Conte pulling the strings on the side lines. As I said at the time though, Napoli did finish the season previously with the highest attacking figure in the league – Inter lifted the title that time!

We should have another cracking battle for the title again this season to be fair. Inters main rivals Napoli started the season with a win on Saturday, so naturally Inter have to keep the pace. It’s actually incredible that on the first week of the season we’ve been talking about “must win games if they want to do X” but it is true. You just cannot afford to start slowly these days! This is a game that Inter will be expected to win though, and it’s no surprise to see them come into the game as the odds on favourites. Inter are trading 1.48 with Torino 7.4 and the draw is 5.0 at the time of writing.

Torino were in the relegation battle in 2019/20 and 2020/21, but since then they have transformed into a consistent mid-table side. They have always been in-or-around that 10th spot – they are your classic mid-table Serie A side now. They were very focused on keeping their games as tight as possible last season, and that came at a cost going forward. They finished in the bottom five on attacking figures, and barely averaged over a goal a game. What kept them in mid-table was they were solid at the back too, however they did concede a reasonably high average xG figure which is something they’ll have to look at improving this season.

It’s very hard to see past the Inter win here, and I would happily include them at 1.48 in any midweek Acca to be honest. However, I feel Inter can keep a clean sheet on the way to winning here. Inter were one of the best sides in Italy at the back last season with an average xG conceded of just 1.07. Compare that to Torino’s attacking figure of just 1.05 last season and Both Teams Not To Score looks a very nice bet at 1.94.

The Ultra Says:
Two points win Both Teams Not To Score at 1.94 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.
