OSASUNA V BARCELONA

8pm The focus on Saturday from Europe on Betdaq Betting Exchange is on La Liga as as Osasuna host Barcelona! More dropped points for Real Madrid last weekend mean Barcelona come into Saturday night sitting eleven points clear at the top of La Liga with just five games remaining – the title is all done barring something truly extraordinary. Hansi Flick’s side have been the outstanding team in Spain this season and I don’t think anyone can question that. The real question now isn’t whether Barcelona will win the league, it’s when they’ll clinch it. A win here would put them in the perfect position heading into El Clasico against Real Madrid at the Camp Nou. Surely they will want to win it there!

This is a game that most casual football fans will be expecting Barcelona to win, but there are plenty of layers given the injury list at the moment. Barcelona are trading 1.8 with Osasuna 4.8 and the draw is 4.1 at the time of writing. The huge blow for Barcelona is the season ending hamstring injury to Lamine Yamal, who suffered a biceps femoris strain against Celta Vigo and has been ruled out for the remainder of the season. Yamal has been arguably the best player in La Liga this season, but obviously Barcelona aren’t under much pressure on the run-in given the points advantage. Raphinha is also working his way back from a hamstring injury, and the vibes are he could be back – watch the team news for that one.

Osasuna are your classic mid-table La Liga side. They sit in a comfortable mid-table position and have had a decent enough season by their standards – they finished ninth last season and they are sitting there again coming into the weekend. There is a gulf in class here in terms of performance levels. Barcelona’s average xG created of 2.15 is the best attacking figure in La Liga, and their average xG conceded of 1.04 is also the best defensive figure in the league. Those are exceptional numbers, and they are what a title winning side looks like in every department. The only negative for Barcelona is obviously not being in the Champions League Semi-Finals this week after getting knocked out by Diego Simeone and Atletico Madrid!

Osasuna have an average xG created of 1.32 which is a respectable mid-table attacking figure, and they have shown the ability to cause problems going forward, but a figure like that is hardly going to worry Barcelona. They also have an average xG conceded of 1.43 which is reasonably high and something that Barcelona will be able to take advantage of. We landed a very nice bet on Barcelona away from home last weekend to get the job done, and while Osasuna’s home record this season would put me off a Five Star NAP, I do feel the 1.8 offers cracking value on Barcelona and is worth a confident bet.

The Ultra Says:
Three points win Barcelona to beat Osasuna at 1.8 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.
