ā 2.35 Ascot (Sagaro Stakes): Stradivarius won this after his Gold Cup treble and Coltrane took it twice but after his Doncaster Cup. So it hardly lives up to its billing as a āGold Cup trialā.
Caballo De Mar beat Coltrane in the Cadran in October, so has a Group-1 penalty. But, after eight victories and a ratings rise of three and a half stone, he was second in the Dubai Gold Cup recently. Today is only Group-3 level.
Trips from 1m 6f to 2m 4f and ground from good to firm to very soft have all come alike to the āsea horse.ā Value at 7.0 on BETDAQ this morning.
