7-1 HIT FOR IN-FORM DAQMAN: Daqman goes marching on! He landed a 7-1 winner yesterday and a near 9-1 forecast, following a Thursday nap.

17.10 points profit in the last three days
WON 7-1 MARCHING MAC (Friday)
WON 11-4 DANGER MAN (Friday)
(CSF 9.74 with 2nd 11-4 ALCARATH)
WON 10-11 MYTHICAL BAY (Thursday nap)

BIG BETDAQ OUTSIDERS TODAY: Today he has two bets at 50-1 plus, one at 37.0, and one at 20-1, as he bids to fill his wallet before the French Oaks tomorrow and Royal Ascot on five days next week (Tuesday-Saturday)

BACK THE ONE THAT NEIGHS

⭕ 1.35 Chester Six out of 10 winners of this sprint have scored from stalls 1 and 2, and one from gate 4; that’s 70% to the low four.

Station X (1) and Ran Amok (2) both have to step up in grade and, though Julie Camacho has scored twice in this from those lucky slots, I’d rather this was 5f for her beau, Brummell (out of 4): BETDAQ 21.0.

Bolo Neighs (3) won in the grade at Ascot the last day and will enjoy some cut in the ground. BETDAQ 3.75 taken.

⭕ 2.10 Chester Masked Warrior made all at Kempton after being gelded and Chester looks ideal to add a turf success before he goes to the sales in a month’s time. Betdaq Betting Exchange 6.1 taken

ZAIN HIDDEN GROUP HORSE

⭕ 2.25 York Just three three-year-olds have tackled this 7f class-3 at York in the last 10 years, with one winner and a third to show for it.

Group-1-entered Extremely Zain goes for a hat-trick on this handicap debut, with his Newbury big-field runner-up last month himself a winner since. BETDAQ 2.9 taken.

Fifth in this race two years ago, Aalto (under Ryan Moore again today) is back close to his winning mark achieved next time out in the Bunbury Cup. BETDAQ 7.9.

He was beaten only a nose in the Bunbury last year by the subsequent Hungerford Stakes winner who was then Group-1 Lockinge runner-up.

Another eye-catcher of a jockey booking is William Buick for Mirabeau; less than a length off a 6f hat-trick scorer at Newbury. But giving 12lb to Extremely Zain seems prohibitive.

CHAMPION ENDEAVOUR: 37.0

⭕ 3.17 Sandown Despite being gelded, High Degree was beaten favourite on his return, and they’ve had to resort to a hood on freegoing Roammee, while the return to a mile looks less than positive for Circus Of Rome.

So it goes on and, when they all seem flawed, it opens the race to a ‘steal’ and none better than champion Oisin Murphy to take advantage. Hard Endeavour was progressive last year and is better than the bare form. BETDAQ 37.0

TIME FOR A FAHEY OUTSIDER

⭕ 3.35 York (£125,000 6f sprint) With handicaps, it’s not just about training the horse but targeting the right race at the right weight. And getting a good draw is the icing on the cake.

THE TRAINERS: Past masters at these combined skills are Tim Easterby and Richard Fahey.

THE DRAW: Nine times out of the last 10 you needed to be on the far side (winners drawn 2, 1, 5, 3, 3, 1) or right across in the near-side group (19 and 20), extremes of the draw essential.

Team Fahey has two rank outsiders: First Time (stall 5), who has a big pull on Advertised (3), from fourth in a sizeable field at York in October.

And on the other side of the track the Faheys have Boston Dan (21) runner-up twice at York last year: in a big summer Sales race and a Listed in October. The stablemates were both 50-1 plus in BETDAQ offers this morning.

Of Tim Easterby’s pair, Go Vince Go has the favoured one stall but was no match for Red Spells Danger (9) at Hamilton last month.

Of others well drawn, Thunder Call (gate 4 for William Haggas) ran away with a Kempton maiden; the sire won six sprints in a row.

First Legion (2) was bumped, beaten 1.5 lengths into fourth when Man Of Vision (20) was a neck runner-up at Newmarket, with Advertised well behind.

What are points? Points facilitate a staking plan, which is the secret to creating profit. One point is whatever you choose: a pound, a euro, or whatever ….

Start with a bank and decide how much you can afford to lose over a period of time, and determine the size of your bets accordingly. Daqman makes this variation every day.
