8pm Group B’s second round of fixtures gets underway on Wednesday night UK time as Switzerland face Bosnia in Los Angeles on WORLD CUP 2026 Betdaq Betting Exchange! This Group is wide open after Matchday one, all four sides are level on one point each, meaning every game from here is enormous. Switzerland will obviously be the most disappointed to be in this position – they were trading 1.25 to beat Qatar who are the weakest side in Group B on paper. They finished the game with an xG of 2.76 so it was clearly a case of them letting a dominant performance slip. The way Qatar stole the point right at the death would have hurt too; but they just didn’t put the game to bed. Bosnia showed they are no pushovers, taking the lead against Canada and hanging on for a draw. Canada did dominate the game though; but Bosnia are one of those sides you just have to work very hard to beat.
Switzerland will be expected to get back to winning ways here, and they come into the game as the odds on favourites at 1.61 with Bosnia 6.6 and the draw is 4.2 at the time of writing. Granit Xhaka summed it up when he said “every draw feels like a loss” after the Qatar result. The Swiss had gone through UEFA qualifying unbeaten, conceding just two goals across six games and topping the Group comfortably. From a betting market point of view; not getting the job done when trading 1.25 is probably the worst start you could ask for! They now have work to do, and against the better two sides as well. Don’t forget Bosnia qualified through the UEFA play-offs, knocking out Italy on penalties to book their place here.
It is only their second World Cup appearance, after Brazil 2014, and the way they went about their business against Canada suggested they are not going to be a soft touch for anyone in this Group. The draw for Bosnia against Canada puts them in a good position too; they will fancy their chances against Qatar so another draw here would leave Bosnia in an exceptionally strong position. You’d have to expect them to come here and defend; we already know that Bosnia are well-organised, so the Swiss will have to make all the running here. While Canada were much the better side against Bosnia, I still wouldn’t be rushing to take the 1.61 on Switzerland here. We’ll probably have the same type of game in the sense that Switzerland will dominate and Bosnia will sit back and look to make life as difficult as possible.

I’d expect a reaction performance after the Qatar draw, but I’m happy to stay out of the match odds market here. Under 2.5 goals is trading 1.79 and that looks good value, as does Both Teams Not To Score at just two ticks lower at 1.77. I really don’t see Bosnia offering much going forward here given the situation; they would bite your hand off for a 0-0 before a ball is kicked to be honest! I couldn’t put anyone off either bet to be honest, but I’m happy to be on Under 2.5 goals at 1.79.
