GROUP B FINAL MATCHDAY
8pm We kick off the final Matchdays on Wednesday evening, and we begin with Group B on WORLD CUP 2026 Betdaq Betting Exchange! ! We have the top two and the bottom two meeting each other as Switzerland take on Canada in Vancouver and Bosnia meet Qatar in Seattle. Canada and Switzerland sit level on four points at the top after Matchday Two wins, while Bosnia and Qatar prop up the table and both know defeat ends their World Cup. Neither of the bottom two can realistically catch the top two, so they are just going for one of the eight third-best finisher positions. Switzerland came into the Group as the odds on favourites to top it, but Canada are in the better position after their 6-0 demolition of Qatar.
Qatar have looked the weakest in this Group, and Switzerland will be kicking themselves that they couldn’t get the job done on Matchday One. We have two interesting markets. Bosnia are the odds on favourites at 1.48 with Qatar 7.6 and the draw is 5.1 at the time of writing, while in the top two game we have an open betting heat – Switzerland are the favourites at 2.54 with Canada 3.3 and the draw is 3.25 at the time of writing. We probably had one of the most dramatic moments of the World Cup from this Group too with Canada and Qatar clashing at full-time! Whatever about the drama, it was Canada’s first ever World Cup win, and a result that puts Jesse Marsch’s side firmly in control of their own destiny heading into this final round.

Switzerland, meanwhile, finally got the win their performances had been threatening. Having racked up an xG of over 3 without beating Qatar on Matchday One, Murat Yakin’s side took it out on Bosnia instead. It was the response Switzerland needed after the frustration of the Qatar draw, but they still have work to do here; to be honest they should be on six points but anyway. Given the goal difference Bosnia are unlikely to break into the top two, but finishing on four points will surely be enough to see them go through. Qatar have looked very average at this World Cup too; obviously the Switzerland result was good to get a draw, but they were exceptionally lucky to get one. Bosnia impressed in patches against Canada and again for periods against Switzerland, but the 4-1 scoreline was a reminder of how costly individual errors can be at this level.
As I said above, we have two interesting markets here. Bosnia look good value at 1.48 to beat Qatar in my opinion; both sides have to go for a win given the situation so I feel that will play into Bosnia’s hands. They aren’t a side that can blow sides away; they got to the World Cup by grinding out results, but Qatar have to chase the game as some stage and that will help Bosnia. I’m happy to take the 1.48 in that game. It’s no surprise that we have a pretty open market for Switzerland v Canada, but I feel the 2.54 on Switzerland is cracking value. They have been playing some excellent football at this World Cup and while obviously Canada racked up six goals last time out, I still feel Switzerland are levels above them.
