LUCKY 13 HORSES TO FOLLOW: Daqman revises his list of horses to follow. He has Cheltenham and Aintree in mind but some of those he drops are earmarked for Punchestown later on. So, fancies for three festivals.

WATCH OUT FOR THE STREAKER! Daqman reckons Midnight Strreaker, a 7.6 chance on BETDAQ this morning, can improve on his hurdles debut at Ayr today under Tony McCoy.

HORSES TO FOLLOW: FINAL LUCKY 13 FOR CHELTENHAM AND AINTREE

AL FEROF This is the Ryanair winner, assuming Cue Card goes for the Gold Cup. Knowing the connections as I do, I am sure they will take their chance in the big one.

Al Ferof’s Power Gold Cup and Amlin Chase double sets him up perfectly for Cheltenham, his King George third revealing his weakness for the very top. Offers of 12.0 BETDAQ.

AT FISHERS CROSS Looked as though he’d fallen to pieces but Cheltenham and A P McCoy brought him back to go down narrowly in the Cleeve Hurdle, giving weight to the winner and beating Big Buck’s.

Back treatment, including acupuncture, is said to have been the turnkey for last year’s Albert Bartlett winner. But check out that Cheltenham form: 1112. World Hurdle 7.6 on BETDAQ.

BRIAR HILL He has speed, he stays; a combination which has won him six in a row. The Albert Bartlett becomes his briar patch.

Likely to be seen in the Deloitte on February 9, if only because he needs racing; he’s so lazy at home. BETDAQ offers around 6.2.

DE LA BECH Won me a few bob at Chepstow, when 4-1 winner but 8.6 on BETDAQ. Cheltenham didn’t suit but the ‘duck-egg’ against his name for that run will make him a better price elsewhere.

HARRY TOPPER ‘The Horse of my dreams’ (Kim Bailey) has lost more recently than he has won but hasn’t always had the soft-heavy ground he needs.

A brilliant finish, third, in the Argento, after a deliberate first round of jumping, when giving 10lb to the winner, The Giant Bolster, and 5lb to Rocky Creek, who was only a head in front of him at the line.

LE BEC A 15.5 offer for the RSA after his good second to Sam Winner, giving that one weight, at Cheltenham in December. Looks full of stamina, so the NH Chase might be a better alternative.

MY TENT OR YOURS Improved 13lb last Spring (Supreme Novices runner-up) and jumped up another 7lb this autumn to take the Fighting Fifth and then the Christmas Hurdle.

At 5.8 on BETDAQ for the Champion Hurdle, he’s still improving but with more experience than Our Conor and Jezki, who have both failed to unseat Hurricane Fly recently. This one can.

ON HIS OWN Made all to win the Thyestes Chase, staving off the young upstart, Los Amigos, who failed to catch him by six lengths, though in receipt of 16lb.

The 2014 Grand National will be his third try at the big race. Reached second Bechers in 2011 and Valentines last year but was given an educational ride by Paul Townend in December’s Becher Chase, jumping well. Third time lucky.

OUR CONOR The equivalent of nine lengths behind Hurricane Fly over Christmas but closed him down in the Irish Champion Hurdle. Needs to improve that much again. Champion Hurdle 7.0.

PINE CREEK Hasn’t been able to hack it at Graded level but should get the perfect handicap mark at one of the festivals.

ROCKY CREEK Big, beautiful jumper and galloper, has Grand National written all over him. Reynoldstown winner in the Spring, Hennessy runner-up in the autumn. He’s 29.0 on BETDAQ this morning, where some bookies are 20-1.

SILVINIACO CONTI A faller when likely to challenge Bobs Worth in last year’s Gold Cup, he came back to form in the King George when he turned around his reappearance Haydock form with Cue Card.

TRIFOLIUM Third in the Supreme Novices Hurdle, he looks a big player in the Cheltenham Arkle (9.2 on BETDAQ, 7-1 in a place on oddschecker) after vindicating Bryan Cooper’s choice of him in the Leopardstown Arkle over his recent conquerors Felix Yonger and Defy Logic

HORSES DELETED FROM THE LIST COULD BE PUNCHESTOWN PICKS

DIAKALI has fallen a bit short, with the amazing wealth in depth of the Willie Mullins yard, but could come back on his favourite track, Punchestown, in the late Spring.

SIR DES CHAMPS and MOUNT BENBULBEN Champion Novices at the Punchestown festivals of 2012 and 2013 will do well to wait for that meeting again.

HOUBLON DES OBEAUX The United House and Silver Cup winner for my list – both races at Ascot – has 15lb more now and will be hard to place.

BUDDY BOLERO Disappointing this season so far, and his Spring form will depend on whether he gets the heavy ground he loves.

MELODIC RENDEZVOUS a nearly horse. Won the Elite at Wincanton and the Haydock Champion Hurdle Trial but do we imagine it will ride heavy at Cheltenham or Aintree. No we don’t.

ZARKANDAR Beaten successively by Hurricane Fly, The New One and Annie Power. Where’s he going to go?

INVICTUS retired after serious injury.
