200 WINS WAS TWO MONTHS EARLY: The bubble burst for Daqman yesterday, back to low-level racing, after a sensational run of winning bets in the top grade produced a naps hat-trick, back-to-back bankers and nine consecutive lays. Plus his 200th winner against Pricewise, a target he set for St Leger time but hit nearly two months early.

EYE ON BETDAQ DONCASTER RACE: Daqman today takes his pick from five meetings in England and Ireland. First he looks at the racing ahead. It includes a BETDAQ-sponsored meeting on Thursday at Doncaster, for which he already has his eye on a potentially smart filly.

BETDAQ TOWN MOOR CARD ALL SET TO SHINE

It’s a Classic year. The results in Europe continue to show that the British class of 2015 is supreme. It’s a great season for our Classic generation.

Territories and Dutch Connection, second and seventh in the Newmarket 2,000 Guineas, were one-two in yesterday’s Prix Jean Prat, French equivalent of the Sussex Stakes.

The Sussex, at Goodwood on July 29, is the next venue for Gleneagles himself, likely to face the seven-wins-in-a-row Solow, who took the Queen Anne Stakes at Royal Ascot.

And Ascot’s biggest crown, the King George, on Saturday week should see the return of Golden Horn, the Epsom Derby and Eclipse winner.

Meanwhile, it’s the Irish Oaks this coming Saturday and I shall be doing an ABC Guide. Look out on Wednesday.

BETDAQ sponsorship brings you five races at the Doncaster evening meeting on Thursday, alongside more evening racing at Epsom. A good night should be had by all. Make sure you have a quiet corner for your laptop and keep your Daq up!

I’ve been told to look out for the appearance on the BETDAQ card of the unraced Shine, trained by Ralph Beckett who is so good with fillies.

It was at this time of year when Shine’s full sister Shamandar was launched on her career. She afterwards won at Listed level and at Ascot before taking her chance in the Cheveley Park.

LATE EASTER COMING IN KILLARNEY FEATURE

Listed Race action is the pick of races today. That takes place in the picturesque venue of Killarney in the South west of Ireland, off at 6.50.

Ten fillies go to post but there are two that standout a mile from the rest, Easter and Military Angel. It’s a race that’s full of winners but few will match to the scope of the aforementioned pair of three year olds.

Military Angel wasn’t good enough to compete in the Irish 1,000 Guineas in May finishing last of the 18 behind Pleascach. She put that behind her with two good runs at Naas and The Curragh back over 7 furlongs.

That looks to be her optimum trip and stepping back up to a mile this evening may prove to be her downfall. Although it’s not the stiffest mile test that she’ll face, the Ballydoyle runner, Easter, is likely to be suited better.

Easter was unable to close the gap of her stable companion, Outstanding, last time out over 10 furlongs in the Oaks Trial at Naas. Outstanding went on to run third in the Belmont Oaks. Dropping back to a mile will be more suitable and having been second to Bocca Baciata in a Two Year Old event at Navan last October, she is the form pick.

Following that run she broke her Maiden tag but was unsuited by the heavy ground first time out finishing fifth behind Ramone. She appears to be a sort that should improve markedly on her handicap rating of 97 and that can start this evening with a ‘Black Type’ win.

FOLLOW BECKETT AND KINGSCOTE AT WINDSOR

One selection for Windsor’s regular Monday evening slot. The 8.00 has been decimated by non runners and now only has 4 going to post, which is why I’m staying away from it now.

Instead, I’m looking to the penultimate race for today’s Nap, L’Ingenue.

Richard Kingscote and Ralph Beckett are teaming up and there is some positive word about this one. Her last run can have a line put through it after she was reported to be very stressed afterwards but her Maiden win prior to that was quite impressive over today’s trip.

She travelled very well that day and quickened away like a decent sort and she should be able to improve from her current mark of 85.

Keep In Line is the obvious danger for Godolphin having won a Maiden at Ripon. He turned over an odds-on shot that day and shaped as if a step up in trip was required. He was stepped up in class to run a Royal Ascot but was down the field and this weaker race is in his favour but I think L’Ingenue is open to much more improvement.

Earlier in the day, up North at Ayr, my first bet runs at 4.35. It’s an open looking contest with 8 runners and the Mark Johnston trained, Assault On Rome is the form pick.

Two runs over today’s trip of seven furlongs has yielded two wins, and she looks to be ideally suited by this distance. The handicapper may catch up on her after today, but for the moment she seems to be well weighted in this one with all conditions in her favour and will be hard to beat.

BETDAQ columnist, Hayley Turner, commented in her recent article that she has ridden a winner at every Flat track in the UK prior to Wetherby opening up for flat racing this year. She mentioned that she is looking to completing the new set and that could well happen today at 5.25 with Ed Dunlop’s Pyla.

Cheekpieces brought about huge improvement last time at Lingfield when she travelled very strongly over 11 furlongs only to get tired close home and dropped to third. Provided the cheekpieces work the miracle once again, Pyla can get off the mark in this one and give Turner another notable win.

DAQMAN’S BETS (Staked 1-9pts on strength, 10pts for a Banker)
BET 4pts win ASSAULT ON ROME (4.35 Ayr)
BET 4pts win PYLA (5.25 Wetherby)
BET 4pts win EASTER (6.50 Killarney)
BET 8pts win L’INGENUE (8.30 Windsor)
