SUNDAY 6.80 profit on the day

SATURDAY 26pts profit on the day
WON 9-2 JOYEUSE
MONDAY: Daqman starts the week with bets from all three venues: Plumpton, Catterick and Wolverhampton for the nap.
MOORE WINNERS NEEDED
⭕ 1.45 Plumpton It’s been a poor season for Gary and Josh Moore with a tally of just 22 winners. The Sussex based training establishment has punched above its weight for many seasons and in 2021/22 had a record 92 winners.
Gary Moore has blamed a ‘messy season’ citing the stop/start nature of the weather and abandonments.
Sadly, for his supporters, there are no signs at present that the tide will turn, as it surely will, with the last 14 runners from the yard all beaten – many by considerable distances.
He has five runners at his local course today and despite the current form stats all five were trading at 5/1 or less on the Betdaq Betting Exchange at 10am.
Shortest of the quintet is Lumi Plugin who is stepping up considerably in trip for this opening 3m 1f handicap hurdle and is partnered by conditional rider Rob Hargreaves who got a good spin out of him at Leicester last time when second at 25/1 at Leicester – beaten just a neck.
He’s run well over a longer trip before but has yet to try this marathon trip and I think there are a couple of value alternatives which I’m backing for a WIN 20 return.
Grove Road is a previous winner over this trip and is probably the best stayer in the field. He is continuing to run well and will relish the testing ground.
Malago Rose is worth another try on testing ground. He romped home by 13 lengths at Fakenham on New Year’s Day and whilst well held last time out the good ground looks a legitimate excuse given her best form has come with give.
HURRAY FOR HAARAR
⭕ 3.00 Catterick The eyes are drawn to handicap debutant It’s All About You who is turning into a win machine with last form figures of 11-11 split equally between flat and jumps.
The handicapper hasn’t taken many chances though with a starting mark of 118 – a full 15lb higher than that of Haaarar whose form at this level is already in the book.
He was only beaten a neck at Carlisle last week and races off the same mark here.
Nowmelad is another starting handicap life today and his CV looks solid. Despite top weight he could make a bold bid as goes well on good ground and has run solid races in better class events than this.
STILL SPEEDY
⭕ 8.30 Wolverhampton King Of Speed won this race 12 months ago and brings enough recent form into tonight’s race to suggest he can follow-up off a 3lb higher mark.
His chances are fairly obvious but it’s the paucity of opposition that perhaps seals the deal more.
Conquest Of Power is unproven over this longer trip and his trainer Mark Usher is not in great form.
My Brother Mike has only beaten one home in his last two races which have included a course and distance effort but he was attracting some morning interest at decent prices.
Supporters must be thinking Rossa Ryan riding for the first time will bring about a big improvement.
