YES! IT’S 10 CONSECUTIVE BANKERS: Daqman had no doubts for the classy BETDAQ-sponsored handicap at Doncaster yesterday, naming “Magic Circle for free-bets maximum!’. Magic Circle (WON 8-15) duly landed his 10th banker in a row. Here are the 10, all winners – NO LOSERS! – between September 26 and October 23:

WON 1-2 Shalaa (gold banker)
WON 10-11 Donna Graciosa (banker)
WON 5-6 Dark Emerald (banker)
WON 10-11 Kayla (banker)
WON 8-11 Vazirabad (banker)
WON 5-6 Quiet Reflection (banker)
WON 5-6 Best In The World (banker)
WON 1-4 Don Cossack (gold banker)
WON 11-10 Solow (banker)
WON 8-15 Magic Circle (banker)

SIX CHANCES TO HIT 100: Daqman had three winners yesterday, including a double – Magic Circle and Maraakib – but there was no score in the challenge with Pricewise, so Daqman remains two short of 100 wins. Today they clash in six races: the 2.35, 3.10, 3.45 Doncaster; and 2.10, 2.45 and 3.20 Cheltenham (eight bets each). Daqman’s sequences are now:

TEN bankers in a row
FIVE consecutive lays
Daqman 98, Pricewise 16

DUNGANNON 13.0 TO GRAB BETDAQ HAT-TRICK

2.35 Doncaster (Betdaq.com 2% Commission Handicap) Dungannon (13.0 in the BETDAQ orange early mouse) bids for a hat-trick, 7lb lighter than last year’s winning rating, and has the soft ground he needs.

Robot Boy is another down the handicap, 8lb below his midsummer mark, and Lucky Beggar has dropped a stone in that time. Both have also won on the soft.

The pace appears to be from stalls 4 and 10, so much depends where Frankie Dettori goes on Demora (offered at 8.0). She could easily follow up her Leicester success, since that came after a long break.

3.10 Doncaster Three-year-olds have won the last four and Ralph Beckett, who snook Magic Circle in at the foot of the handicap yesterday, has pulled off the same trick here. Rabbit out of the hat this time is Argus (5.2 offers).

VERMEER’S FORM PAINTS A WINNING PICTURE

3.45 Doncaster (Racing Post Trophy) My ABC guide earlier in the week could not separate Foundation, Johannes Vermeer and Port Douglas, as fitting all the stats.

Foundation tries to do an Elm Park, who pulled off the Ascot Royal Lodge and Racing Post Trophy double last season. But Deauville had been off for two months before running second at Ascot, and also has cheekpieces fitted now to make up a length.

And the form through Deauville’s earlier narrow defeat of Sanus per Aquam points to Johannes Vermeer, who had that one further behind at Leopardstown.

‘Johannes’ was beaten favourite to lead Europe’s best in the Lagardere on Arc day, but the race was slow-run and inconclusive.

Both Foundation and Deauville would not be at their best on soft ground and further rain would make BETDAQ offers of 9.8 Johannes Vermeer even more tempting.

4.55 Doncaster (Betdaq.com- Serious About Racing Nursery Handicap) Richard Fahey is on a hat-trick in this. His two successes both came with previous winners, whereas Theos Lolly lines up as a maiden.

However, a line through General Alexander suggests that ‘Theo’ has been taking on better class. He has Scrutineer to beat if he is to land the lolly!

KOORA COULD LAND A COUP AT NEWBURY

1.50 Newbury (Horris Hill Stakes) This race once turned up giants like Kris and Kalaglow, and the handsomest-ever horse in training, Persian Bold.

Two-year-old tests – and subsequent three-year-old trials – go round in fashion and, who knows, the Horris Hill could bounce back.

Team Hannon’s Madrinho stable has a 101211 record in six seasons, while Zonderland was clear favourite this morning, and both Crazy Horse and Start Time come from stables in top form with two-year-olds.

However, we could be talking soft ground here and Perkunas (14.5 on BETDAQ as I write) is bred for the mud.

2.25 Newbury (St Simon Stakes) Koora finished behind Melodious over further but is back in trip here and, as a Pivotal, should relish the ground. Quite a punt was developing this morning (in to 3.7 favourite on BETDAQ).

SIVOLA CLASS MAKES 9.8 OFFER STAND OUT

2.10 Cheltenham Potentially plenty of pace on here, with Next Sensation, Boondooma, Sew On Target, Astracad, Going Concern and De Faoithesdream all having led their fields in the past.

They could all be playing for Turn Over Sivola (I took 9.8 on BETDAQ), so often the bridesmaid but a class act in this field and with his in-form trainer keen to grab this early chance at a sound(ish) surface on a course Sivola knows well.

2.45 Cheltenham Hargam finished in front of Devilment in the Triumph Hurdle (third) but behind him afterwards on a flat track at Liverpool.

Karezak, another King horse who finds it hard to get his head in front, holds the key to the form and has the benefit of an outing.

But those form lines all point to Devilment (4.8 offers), who has 6lb and better ground to help him get revenge on Hargam, of whom Barry Geraghty is hardly upbeat in several interviews during the week.

SPIN THE WHEEL AT THE 11.0 ABOUT BIG CASINO

3.20 Cheltenham Philip Hobbs recent record n this is 1321111 and he sends out last year’s winner, Roalco De Farges, off a mark only 4lb higher.

Azure Fly, Fox Appeal Perfect Candidate and Theatrical Star have not enjoyed Cheltenham so far, while the form of Audacious Plan, Kie and Silver Man suggests they are flat-track horses.

Champion Court loves the championship course, and looks a trade horse offered at 11.0 on BETDAQ this morning, as he seems almost certain to try to give a jumping exhibition in front, though Big Casino did just that at Chepstow on the last day.

At the weights, I prefer Roalco de Farges (6.8) and Big Casino (11.0), who likes the ground, goes well after a break and is from a stable in form.
