BETDAQ VALUE KEEPS DAQMAN IN FRONT: Daqman squeezed a profit from his bets on Thursday and Friday, thanks to his staking plan and tremendous value in BETDAQ offers, as revealed in the winner and second he tipped yesterday:

Friday: profit on the day 1.75 points
WON 6-5 KOMASK from 3.7 on BETDAQ
2nd 5-2 Road Warrior from 4.6 on BETDAQ

Thursday: profit on the day 2.3 points
WON 1-1 WHITTLE LE WOODS

PROFIT OF 84 POINTS IN PRICEWISE DUEL: Today Daqman’s Lays Logic unearths some disturbing facts about the favourites for two big races, the Lanzarote Hurdle and the Warwick Classic. Both feature in his value challenge to Pricewise of the Racing Post (current score: 20-12 to Daqman, who shows a profit of 84.75).

PLAYING THIS BY THE BOOK

⭕ 2.40 Kempton (Lanzarote Hurdle) Daqman’s preview Friday

🤔 LAYS LOGIC: Only one horse (in 1988) has won this when a double-figure age; in fact, only two aged nine have won since its inauguration in 1978.

There has been no winner carrying more than 11st 7lb since 1995, and before that it was 1978.

These stats are red flags for Call Me Lord, Ch’tibello, Comanche Red, Dans Le Vent and William Henry.

Gelino Bello This could be labelled Limerick Logic! The form of Fortune Cookies’ Cheltenham hope, Blazing Khal, trained by Charlie Byrnes in Limerick, is on show here via Gelino Bello, who has finished second to that one twice.

My guess is that Paul Nicholls will swerve Blazing Khal at Cheltenham and keep Gelino Bello for Aintree, where he won his maiden hurdle in October.

Green Book This is a leap in class but he’s done well over different trips on different ground, though only five, and he’s claimed off 10lb, which brings his weight down close to that for Yala Enki who landed a huge gamble in this for the same trainer, Venetia Williams, in 2016.

Marie’s Rock A Nicky Henderson course and distance winner on Boxing Day, when the mare beat An Tailliur, who went to post with six wins in a row, still standing. But that’s cost the Rock a 9lb rise.

ALSO: Cabot Cliffs should enjoy the step up in trip; cheekpieces could help Bold Plan; Earth Lord won well at Ascot but needs to progress again.

BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE value 6.3 Green Book, 9.0 Gelino Bello

BLINKERS BACK ON BRIDGE

⭕ 2.47 Wetherby West To The Bridge (2020) and Shannon Bridge (2021) have won the last two runnings of this 2m 3f handicap hurdle. Is it a bridge too far to ask Shannon Bridge to make it a hat-trick?

On recent evidence, no way; but his fine form at this time a year ago, when he stepped up from this race to win in class 2 at Ascot, was in blinkers. They are back on today, and he is down below his last winning mark in the Ascot race.

Another CD winner here in October, Haafapiece, was beaten favourite over shorter the last day, back at Wetherby, and doesn’t like the ground too soft.

Ballyandy hasn’t won for two years but now races off a 13lb lower mark, and can be forgiven some tough tasks in Graded races at Cheltenham.

Benson has also slipped down the handicap but has never won beyond 2m, and in the last year or so has been tried in tongue-tie, visor and now cheekpieces.

Glentruan is with his third trainer in two years. He did well from fresh surroundings when ‘winning’ (dead-heat) first run for Ann Duffield but you wouldn’t want to bet he’d reproduce that form.

Solo Saxophone has won here twice but you have to go back two-and-a-half years. Boss Man Fred was also winning races in 2019. Friary Rock is a good-ground-only winner.

BETDAQ value 6.3 Shannon Bridge

CHANCE OF REPEAT WINNER

⭕ 3.00 Warwick (Warwick Classic) Daqman’s preview Thursday

🤔 LAYS LOGIC: No six-year-old has won this 3m 5f chase under any of its names since it began in 1973; only one winner has carried top-weight (2012).

These stats are red flags against market leaders Gericault Roque, the Mandarin runner-up, and Corach Rambler, who won in the autumn at both Aintree and Cheltenham but is a quirky sort, raised 15lb overall.

Bryony Frost is on another six-year-old, Grace A Vous Enki, and The Hollow Ginge also carries a big weight, just a pound below Corach Rambler; he was pulled up in the race last year.

Achille is in no way down at heel, despite being aged 12. Second last year, he’s since finished in the first six in the Haydock Grand National Trial (second) and Midlands Grand National, plus the Becher Chase and Welsh Grand National (4th) in December.

Very brave and eased 3lb but has to overcome the exertions of those two marathon races in December..

Eclair Surf Late developer, won at Sandown last Spring, and has run well recently: close up when fell three out behind the subsequent Becher Chase winner; same again when blundered out of the Welsh Grand National trial at Chepstow in December.

No Rematch He won well last Spring after a year off but pulled up last month after a similar long break. Hard to know what to make of him but his trainer thinks he’s a stayer and his stable has landed the veterans’ final and the North Yorkshire Grand National in the last week.

Notachance, last year’s winner, is 4lb better off with the runner-up, Achille. Notachance lost form after his win but his Tommy Whittle effort a month back suggested that the outing plus today’s first-time visor might bring him back to life.

Minella Encore Winning form in the autumn but up 12lb for that and races off his highest ever mark today.
Paddleyourcanoe has won a 3m chase and was fourth, staying on, in the 2020 Summer Cup at Uttoxeter (3m 2f).

BETDAQ value 10 No Rematch, 18.0 Notachance

What are points? Points facilitate a staking plan, which is the secret to creating profit. One point is whatever you choose: a pound, a euro, or whatever ….

Start with a bank and decide how much you can afford to lose over a period of time, and determine the size of your bets accordingly. Daqman makes this variation every day.
