DAQMAN ALL SET FOR CHESTER: Daqman is in top form for the three-day meeting at Chester after two strikes yesterday. He again picks in four races, with his nap in the Oaks trial.
Yesterday: Profit on the day: 10.30
WON 4-1 MAGNA
WON 3-10 FAIRYE FORTH (supernap)
FINAL HAS BETDAQ APPEAL
â 1.30 Chester The story of a sprint like this at Chester – and some other races there, too! – is laid bare in the last five years of results by stall.
Three wins for stall 1: âmade allâ; âdisputed leadâ; âkeen holdâ. Two wins from stalls 5 and 6: âdwelt startâ in both cases. You either go like the devil or get lucky and catch the devil by his tail.
But what do you do when youâve got Hickory Lad (out of 5), Final Appeal (from 4), Wait Geordie (out of 3) and Adonius (from the one stall) ALL red-hot âgate-crashersâ who have made ALL in winning within the last month!
My answer: take the fastest winner on time and the trainer of most two-year-old winners. In each case, itâs Final Appeal, 7.1 offers on BETDAQ this morning.
SUPIDO BIG 8.0 FOR BILLY
â 2.05 Chester LAYS LOGIC: Biggish fields for this, with six races out of nine to stalls 1 (three times), 2, 3 and 4 but just one winning favourite.
Last year, Partisan Hero was used up to lead from gate 12, beaten threeparts of a length, splitting the winner out of the one stall and the third, drawn 3.
That winningmost gate, one, is a big helping-hand for our Hero today and heâs won twice since (on another sharp track, Epsom), is fit from Bahrain and raised a total of 9lb.
Supido (stall 2) has dropped 10lb since 5th in the Britannia at Royal Ascot last summer, and has Billy âThe Kidâ Loughnane, who rode him then, back in the saddle. Can Oisin Murphy on Snow Master (stall 7) catch the low drawn?
Betdaq Betting Exchange 5.6 Partisan Hero, 8.0 Supido
THE ONE TO ENABLE GOSDEN
â 2.35 Chester (Cheshire Oaks) Aidan OâBrien likes this place and has won todayâs Oaks five times since 2016, four of them favourite.
His 2023 winner, Savethelastdance, was beaten at Epsom but went on to take the Irish Oaks. Last year his Minnie Hauk won both!
John Gosden saddled the best winner of this, and in my opinion one of the best Epsom Oaks fillies ever: Enable, of course, in 2017.
Though inexperienced, his six-lengths Newbury maiden winner, Iâm The One – by Sea The Stars – has the OâBrien pair, Amelia Earhart and Sugar Island, well covered, if the market is right.
They bring the experience of five races each to the reckoning but with just one Group 3 landed (by Sugar Island on heavy).
Ralph Beckettâs A La Prochaine (with a pedigree like a French Oaks winner) and Andrew Baldingâs Winged One (from a stamina-packed family) are also stepping up after breaking their maiden.
IS THIS THE DERBY WINNER?
â 3.05 Chester (Vase) The Vase was infamous for âduffâ Ballydoyle winners, US Army Ranger (never won another race), Sir Dragonet (ditto on these islands) and Changingoftheguard (one Group 2).
But the Chester trial produced the ace in the pack for Aidan OâBrien last year with Lambourn, who won the English and Irish Derbys little more than three weeks apart.
And Benvenito Cellini, a son of Frankel, is the Ballydoyle Derby favourite this morning, third in the Doncaster Futurity behind Aidan OâBrien stablemates Hawk Mountain (Dante date?) and Action, who flopped in the Sandown Classic Trial.
ANGEL IN THE ONE STALL!
â 3.40 Chester The low draw has again held good in this 6f sprint, with the winners by stall since 2017 as follows: 1, 5, 4, 6, 2, 1.
I split my stake this morning between the Hugo Palmer pair, Rubys Angel and Watcha Snoop at 7.9 and 7.7 respectively in BETDAQ offers.
Rubyâs Angel for local Roudee Racing owners is best placed from the one stall, with Tom Marquand booked and well in here, particularly with Temple Of Athena (2), who was behind her at York last summer.
Watcha Snoop (6) is down in class today after running in the Mill Reef and the Champions Day two-year-olds test.

What are points? Points facilitate a staking plan, which is the secret to creating profit. One point is whatever you choose: a pound, a euro, or whatever ….
Start with a bank and decide how much you can afford to lose over a period of time, and determine the size of your bets accordingly. Daqman makes this variation every day.
