PREVIEW

West Brom have a huge opportunity to draw level with Norwich if they pick up all three points on Saturday. Following a run of three games without a win, the Baggies returned to form with a convincing 4-2 win against Cardiff in the FA Cup.

Roy Hodgson’s side have made a slow start to 2012 in the league with two 1-0 defeats on the spin, although the manager cannot fault the effort from his players in either game. The Baggies pushed high-flying Tottenham all the way in their most recent home league game.

The Canaries have impressed over the first half of the season, but Paul Lambert will constantly be reminding his side that the tough part is yet to come. Even though they are four places above the hosts, it’s still very tight towards the bottom end of the table.

When these sides met before Christmas it was Peter Odemwingie’s third minute strike that proved the difference at Carrow Road. However, the Baggies’ will be expecting a nervy afternoon as they’ve been beaten four times in their past six at the Hawthorns.

Neither side is in great scoring form coming into this clash and it looks as if a goal may just be enough to settle this one again. The Baggies have only managed four goals in six home league games, so my advice would be to back there to be under 2.5 goals at around 2.1 on BETDAQ.

RECOMMENDATION: (1-10 points)

Back under 2.5 goals at 2.1: 4 points

Thursday’s Return: +2.40
